                                    "Others may disagree, but ginger and turmeric have wonderful properties. Ginger is warming (and soothing to the digestive tract) and turmeric is a fabulous anti-inflammatory.<br />
Definitely my two favorite "spices."<br />

Fruit in Israel is more seasonal than in the States (don't know about elsewhere). You "can't get" certain things certain times of year, and the availability of certain fruits in the market tell you what's in season."
