Any ideas for what to do with fruit skins? I live in a flat and don;t want to throw them in the bin. However, I don't have a garden or anything. If you compost in your flat....whadoyadowithit??!!

quick question- do vitamix/other expensive blenders make real smooth smoothies? I've got the cheapest blender and it jeeps making lumpy smoothies-it's gross. Thinking of getting a better make but will it actually make a difference?cheers.
