I'm putting this out there to see if there are any vegans near me. I don't have any vegan friends and am transitioning into a raw vegan lifestyle, so would love to have some like-minded friends to chat to!

I was vegan for 4 years before I got some buddies, I met them doing activism with the save movement which led to other forms of activism, now most of my FB mates are vegans I became friends with doing activism.
www.thesavemovement.org is a good place to find your local save.
You could also do a Facebook search for example
'west midland' or your nearest city then put in
"AV" or "animal rights" or "sabs" or "earthlings"

you could do a search in the groups section,forum and members with location and probably discover a lot of ppl. as the site gains more traction you will connect with more frugivores
