Here's my little raw vegan bubba Bhala Autumn Emily having a rockmelon and greens smoothie. She loves them and yes some did go down her throat not just all over her :)She's 9 months old and has only ever had breastmilk and raw, ripe, organic fruit and celery sticks to teeth/chew on...well, other than the grass, paper, dirt and everything else that she sticks in her gob whenever it's in reach.She's a happy healthy little girl. Very strong and tough too...takes a spill and gets straight back up and keeps learning/doing. I'm in awe of her every day :)

My mom breast-fed me for years, like 4-5 I think. It is the best way to go.
Out of curiosity, what was the bulk of your diet like during the pregnancy and now breast feeding? Also how did you decide to have the baby at home unassisted? Where there books you read, know other moms that did the same? Just so curious since there are not that many ladies out there doing this.

wow...she is just beautiful...and so healthy...you have done well...she is so blessed to have such a pure beginning...and to have such a smart and loving mom...she really is adorable those eye lashes...oh my goodness...and her iris is so clear.....amazing what breast milk from a healthy mom and fruit will do... I use to lett my little ones chew on the core of the pineapple because of the bromaline enzyme...it reduces swelling of the gums...Blessings

I am so grateful that my mom fed us relatively healthy food. She always gave me fresh carrot juice and I'm convinced that is why I have perfect vision. :D lol
when i was a baby being breastfed i completely stopped drinking it... i just didn't want it. and i lost a ton of weight and it was a really scary time. i think it had to do with the quality of it (although i love my mother dearly and will defend her to the death), i think she was consuming toxic s#!te and i knew it as a baby.
