    me and freelee use arborist mulch around the food forest and to cover the small kitchen garden close to the house.

    the year we started putting the arbor mulch on the kitchen garden we had the best year for tomatoes that far, and the need for water was reduced significantly.

    no tilling but just adding more mulch is so easy, almost effortless gardening if the mulch is easy to get. And weeding time was reduced significantly also.
