I really hope so!!

Please let me know so I can hopefully help spread the message and make others look up the website out of curiosity themselves! THANKS : )

So when I first came across freelee, I think she was wearing like a white crop top that said 30 Bananas a day on it or something like that, and I knew what she was kind of about from originally watching durianrider, but I just thought she looked SO cute in her little banana top. I then typed it in and came across 30Bananasaday, and man did I love the sound of this lifestyle. So I kept watching her new uploads and noticed she continued to wear Go fruit yourself and 30Bad apparel. I looked all over the internet to see if she might be selling the shirts online, but then came across her thailand video where she says that she gets them made for her when she travels. I found other shirts such as the Go vegan t shirts and athletic apparel supporting vegan, BUT I WANTED THOSE CUTE CROP TOPS!!!! I have a belly ring too and damn nothing would be cuter!

article-2644730-1E6807BE00000578-12_634x972.jpg

244368_10150187643800741_682485740_7481425_228069_o.jpg

So, i've only been a Raw Til 4 Vegan since the 25th of May, but I still need to tell my dad, step-mom, and step-sisters that i've chosen this lifestyle! i really don't want to do his because i feel like they'll be worried about me, question every thing i do, and don't forget the awkwardness! I know there are plenty of people who are reading this and are like, "TELL YOUR DANG FAMILY!!". But its really hard for me. Probably because i'm in this completely alone. Anyways, the reason i have to tell them NOW is because were heading to D.C. in around 10 days and i'm so excited to go again (went to the inauguration last year). The problem is, I can't just go buy 10 bananas for breakfast and lunch! They'll probably flip when they figure out that I eat fruit for lunch. Any words of wisdom for any of these situations?

  Much Appreciated! :)

I couldn't find any other information on this at all, which is why I felt the need to make my own question here about it. Whilst I think the idea of the diet is absolutely fantastic and after reading extensively on it, I cannot really see any issues with it in the slightest. (Except perhaps getting a little sick of bananas haha).

The fact still remains. An average banana contains about 105 calories. Eating 30 of them is a calorie intake of 3000+ a day. An average male needs around 2200 calories in a day. I know for a fact that for years and years I've been getting, at times, less than half that even for weeks straight. I am 23, Australian and currently weigh exactly 70kg. I am in no way looking to 'lose' weight at all, however I am still worried that going from my current diet (which is absolutely terrible, I will say that) of 1000 calories a day to 1600 calories max, and very rarely 2200 (see why I need a diet change!) will have crazy effects on my weight and lifestyle.

It's also why all of this 'weight loss' seems to make not much sense to me. I realise that calories doesn't equal fat, and that not all calories are the same. But I would like an educated answer from someone who has been on this diet a long time. Not just a general opinion on why 3000+ calories a day should be 'a-ok' under this diet.

I am practically happy with my weight and my physique but it could always be better. I do however want a lot more energy and I want to eat a lot healthier. Which is why I am considering 30BaD.

Could anyone give me any sort of information? Thanks.

Can i eat fruits all day long as much as i want to? Snack on a fruit/veggie in every couple of minutes? Or make myself big smoothies for breakfast/lunch etc? Nothing cooked, like ever? Only everything raw? Can’t even cook/steam veggies for example?

I know that Raw Til 4 is that you eat fruits and veggies until 4 and then have a cooked meal high in carbs and then no more, but what time should the last meal be? And what exactly should it consist of? Potatoes, pasta, macaronies and just a veggie salad aside? Or what? Could i even have oatmeal for dinner?

Still trying to figure it out exactly and maybe even give it a try. Why? Because i’m a total fruit and veggie lover, i could snack on them for the whole day and make myself yummy smoothies all day long. Even though i like meat, cheese, eggs etc, i find them not so appetizing for me anymore and meat is shitloads of expensive and doesn't fill my tummy up..

What's exactly allowed on this way of eating and what now? I know that there's no restriction on fruits (as i have understood) but what about veggies? What's a GO and what's a NO?

And how ‘bout work/school? Do you carry your veggies/fruits with you all day long? What do you say to others? I believe that if i would start changing my eating habits like this, my family would think i’m insane.

I know that there’s no calorie restriction, but does that mean i need to exercise? We all have been taught that excess calories raise our weight but is it really true?

I started with Focus T25 (Beachbody program, quite intensive) today, is it okay to do it with this lifestyle? Will i have enough energy and improvement in my trainings? Will it help me build my muscle also? Or will i only lose fat?

I’ve seen some extremely amazing results over the internet and this website and i really start to think that high carb raw vegan could work for me to. I have a minor skin problem and a really big problem with my scalp also and during the day i feel like i have zero energy and i have also problems with sleeping at nights.. will it help me cure them? I’ve seen pic’s of people getting rid of insane acne within just 2 months.. will it help me also? (i don’t have serious acne, but my boyfriend does!)

And which is better, high carb raw vegan or Raw Til 4? Which you think is better for a beginner? Which is easier to follow and to live with and why?

I also take extra magnesium because i have muscle cramps and they're pretty bad and i can't get rid of them without extra suppliments (if i skip a day on it, i suffer at night).. will this lifestyle help me cure this problem?

If you know any good blogs/tumblr’s from real people (not made up for advertisement) which talk about the same lifestyles, let me know. Any help/advice/links/etc are accepted! :) I'm also running around this website to catch up on everything i need to know and every little detail that there is.

Sorry for any mistakes, English isn't my native language. :)

Since living this lifestyle I've never been happier in my life! :)

I'd love to have a few clothing articles and a few other 30BaD products. However, this isn't meant to be rude. I mean it well and if anything as constructive criticism.

As I'd love to have some clothing articles with phrases such as I <3 Carbs etc., I can't find any that I'd be comfortable in wearing. Because women's clothes in this day and age are often cut tight, which I don't feel comfortable in and therefore don't wear. I don't like being limited in finding clothing just because I don't follow the "modern clothing trend for women" (in terms of the tighter/fitted fit). I've always loved wearing loose clothing because I like having "wiggle room" and otherwise I just either feel "choked" or like something is glued to my body. I don't mind what others choose to wear, but I also should be allowed to feel well in what I wear.

That being said, would it be possible to also sell tanktops and/or spaghetti tops that are loose?

Many thanks in advance.

I want to be 100% raw and I can do without cooked vegetables (the only cooked food I still eat, though no more than 1x day/5 days a week/ 2 days a week I eat completely raw). I eat only whole foods - fruits and vegetables -, no oils, no sugar or any form of sweetener, no salt, no grains, no nuts, no spices/flavourings. I never cheat because I find such ingredients disgusting from having withdrawn from them for so long. I already tend to eat mostly mono-meals too.

I feel so ashamed expressing some of what I post now, but I am scared because of these following factors:

- Even though I try to avoid counting calories because it can be dangerous for people like me (even if I'm clean since about 9 years), it scares me that they speak of how many calories we should (minimally) be eating. Because I'm afraid of the fact that I currently am not yet in the minimum requirement. Though I believe I do know how to change that with more fruit intake.

-When people begin to live 811 correctly, I understand weight gain is temporary and can last from 6 months to 2 years (I have at least read that from DR I think).

-> A major part of me wants to at least wait until I am finished with my apprenticeship (2013) and find work as well as having my own or a shared flat. Because first of all, I don't want to have to deal with people making comments - either directly to me or behind my back - about my weight, if my weight gain is noticeable or doesn't look like muscle. Second of all, I really need to plan beforehand and calculate how much my planned foods (when I finally live completely 811) fruits and leafy greens (no more cooked vegetables...) will cost me and if that's financially possible for me. Then again Freelee and Jolita's videos, when I do my best to focus on them, remind the reasonable part of me that weight is not a problem. Though I don't think I'm as phobic about it as I was during my ED-days, it is something that I think and am unsure about.

* Though I have made many changes in my life for the better and I want to make the change to 100%, but I want to make sure I know all the necessities, so that I do it right.

-> Money doesn't grow on trees, including for clothes (in case my clothes temporarily or permanently won't fit me anymore). I am also in a very complicated situation in where I'm not allowed to spend more than 7€/day on food.*

* I can talk about it per PM, if I feel that I can trust you...

-> I at least know I will be doing the right thing when I make the full leap to 811, but I am afraid of a so-called "caloric-debt" (as DR mentioned) because of my past abuse to my body from my eating disorders (binge eating disorder until I was 14 and after that anorexia until I was 16) and/or because of my needed fruit-increase and/or my cooked vegetable consumption (even when I add nothing to them).

- I would be grateful of any help from people here. The best people would be people who have suffered from eating disorders, especially if they are healed now and are doing well on 811. Even if you are currently still transitioning, I would definitely include you. I also want to make the change without having to focus on/count calories. My math is terrible anyway - I can do basics like adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing (and always need a calculator so I can see what I'm doing), but procentages, algebra, etc. I don't understand.

In Germany, it's been great when I've gone to doctors (even though seldomly) and they have respected my wish never to be weighed and have never forced that on me.

From the videos I have seen so far, I feel most inspired by Jolita and Freelee. Freelee inspires me through her victory as a "warrior" who successfully ended the battle of EDs and is living a wonderful happy and healthy life. For me, it is helpful/necessary for one to give me advice when they have had the same/similar past experiences as me. Jolita inspires me as well not only for her vibrant healthy life, but also from her video where she mentions she doesn't want to have to count calories (because that's exactly what I want too!). Though I'm not sure if you've had similar past experiences as me, Jolita. Nevertheless, I am inspired by you both, as well as DR, and many more of you wonderful people on 30BaD.

I am grateful for any help and/or exchanges of personal experiences. :)

--Originally posted in the group forum of "PCOS/MCOS No More!"--

Great news and hope, ladies.

Today, March 16th, was the day I got my period back since around the same time this past November! Sheesh!

I have been writing on the forum comments about my personal experiences, experimentation, and results, and this is what I found to be very important over these past few years. These are my tips for ladies with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome/PCOS after years of experience and experimentation:

High-Carbohydrate, low-fat diet

Eating lots of bananas have personally helped me get my period, believe it or not, and bananas apparently help with period pain! Score!

Too much of an insulin spike in banana smoothies? Try combining them with greens! Spinach, choy sum, romaine, arugula! Possibilities are endless, and I feel like greens are essential in us ladies getting a period.

Eating over 2500 calories a day, or eating 10g CHO/kg of body weight. I have been averaging around 2700-2800cals weekly, and I am a very short girl!

Eating fat, but eating minimal amounts of it! There are some days I go without eating fat, but for some reason, I feel better at the moment eating some overts (ex. 1/3 an avocado during dinner time 2x a week, than eating none.)

I have fallen off the wagon at least 1x a week since mid-February, and I somehow still majestically got my period. The catch is that I have eaten high-carb starchy vegetables like cassava/yucca and sweet potatoes; grains like brown rice (these make me moody, and may make you moody, too so beware); and all sorts of beans and bean concoctions such as black beans, pidgeon peas, lentils, fava beans, and chickpeas and hummus made from chickpeas (I did so with olive oil; big boo boo and double no no... I felt so DEPRESSED after..).

Thus..... if you restrict your calories, you may not get your period. The times I have gotten my period, I have eaten insanely and with no restriction on my carbs. I had no period when I restricted and during the winter, when you need more calories to keep warm--meaning....... if I didn't eat enough calories in the winter because I was eating what I normally ate in the summer, I was unintentionally restricting! Get it?

Eat Your Leafy Greens and Veggies

This is really important. It seems that green juices, vegetable juices, beet/carrot juice concoctions help in gaining a period. Why? I believe it is because we women with PCOS may be low in our minerals such as zinc, iron, selenium, chromium, copper, and magnesium. Chromium has been associated with blood sugar and insulin receptors. (I don't go crazy in managing this stuff, I just eat fruits and veggies until I am no longer hungry and satisfied. If I have a crazy for a particular vegetable I take it as a a sign and eat tons).

Eat lots of leafy greens, make green smoothies!

If necessary, drink veggie juices until you get the hand of eating more veggies. Note*: veggie juices are NOT promoted on 30BaD. But heck, they still follow LFRV guidelines, so I do them occasionally when I feel in the mood or think I need them.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is virtually used by every cell in your body and essentially acts as a hormone in your body. What happens when a hormone is missing in the human body? Things get out of wack, female/menstrual hormones included.

Vitamin D has been associated with insulin sensitivity and resistance, resistance being common in PCOS/MCOS. The more stable my vitamin D levels are/were, the more likely it was for me to get my period, I realized (and the happier I was)!

My period was wonderful during the summer months and whenever I was in a sunny environment, and most recently, it was light and practically nonexistent during the winter. We get more vitamin D with the summer sun, so this made me think.

As soon as I implemented my D3 regiment of a few thousand IU this past summer 2011, I got a period.

Vitamin B12

I have yet to figure out the connection involving this, but all I know is that:

I lost weight as soon as I started supplementing with B12 and really doing LFRV the summer of 2011

I feel so much happier and better able to concentrate; we women with hormonal issues tend to get depressed and tend to have that foggy brain and lack of concentration.

Water

...is crucial! Hydrates, Cleanses, and Helps things flow!

Drinking 3L+ a day is crucial (I drink 3-5L depending on thirst)

I get super moody when I don't drink water. I found that I am not overly emotional, I just need tons of water. This may be the same for you!

Make sure to drink tons of water before banana smoothies so you will be less affected by that insulin spike. I used to always need a nap after smoothies/sugar. Now I get loads of energy!

Sleep

I may be feeling my period coming, but if I don't get proper sleep, my period will take longer to come or may not come, until I finally get some sleep.

Falling asleep earlier helps also with regulating hormones. This is my weakest link, but I have been in bed lately at 10:30-11:30ish, and apparently this has been helping!
I suggest falling asleep earlier, like at 8pm or 9pm, if you can.

Exercise

Helps with insulin resistance and makes us more insulin sensitive, so women with this issue, work a bit of a sweat, even if it is for 20 minutes a day. Something is something. Personally, I have just been doing some jogging and strides to the super market and back a few times a week, and that has been working wonders on my mood, body weight, and period!

Helps with stress!!!

Stress Relief & Relaxation

When I have been awfully stressed (ex. this past winter), I did NOT get my period. Lately, after implementing a more happy and stress-free approach to life, I have felt much lighter... and voila! A period!

When you are stressed, you burn more calories and you use up more vitamins such as vitamin C and B family vitamins, found abundantly in fruits and vegetables. Eat more to gain more. This is the same for when you are on your menstrual cycle.

Stress also negatively interferes with your hormones, and from what I remember, causes more of those male hormones to take play in your body..... (someone correct me if I am mistaken) something we women with PCOS/MCOS tend to have.

If you miss a cycle, do NOT--I repeat--do NOT stress! Just be happy! Your body is slowly regulating at its pace. Be patient with yourself and the wonder if your body!

Fat

Eating too much leads to insulin resistance.

Don't eat more than 10% a day. I personally average a good 5-7% a week.

Gourmet meals will give you pimples, make you feel foggy-minded, and affect your concentration. Not to mention that it may give you body odor.

When choosing between high-fat gourmet and low-fat cooked, choose the low-fat cooked... minimal salt. I do this now instead of gourmet... gosh, what a difference in my overall mood and personality..... not to mention I am less pimply.

Water Retention & Salt

Minimize and/or eliminate salt for less water retention, as we women with PCOS/MCOS tend to easily retain lots of water.

This especially helps with edema, bloating, and water retention in the face, abdominal, and thigh areas.

This really helps when you get your period, too. (This is the first period I have that I do not retain a good 3-5 pounds of excess water and look overweight. My face is barely puffed up! I highly believe this is due to my great reduction in salt, to the point of almost eliminating it completely from my diet.)

Finally, if you want to lose weight and want a period, I suggest you carb up, but since we women with these conditions tend to be sensitive to insulin spikes, salt, etc. I suggest focusing on whole foods such as

fruits such as bananas (if necessary, at the beginning, blended with greens for less of an insulin spike), mangoes, persimmons, grapes, and lots of berries!

If you are transitioning or are low on fruit or just simply crave cooked food and cannot resist go for... high-carbohydrate foods, such as cassava/yucca, sweet potatoes, batata, plantains, sweet plantains, yam!

Avoid the refined stuff such as:

Crackers

White rice (Go for brown for less of an insulin spike, less of a bad mood, and less of a crash)

Bread and gluten, especially white bread--evil!...... these will stick to your insides and you will have a heck of an emotional roller coaster ride.... stay raw for a while and you will see what I mean. (I got my first cold in a year experimenting with gluten 2 weeks ago. Banana island cured it :D )

Dates that have been processed to oblivion and have been heated and have added sugar in them.

Dried fruit (for now at least, or have minimal amounts).

Finally, in my honest opinion, also avoid:

potatoes, if possible and as REASONABLE, as for some reason, and the experience of other women, this causes more crazy moods and crash, not to mention water weight retention (most probably because of the salt added). If you don't have food or have not eaten, eat them of course!

Other factors to consider: medications, most especially birth control, and the time frame you have been on/off them (it may take a few months to a year or so for this to sort out... don't worry, it will) thyroid issues/ iodine supplementation; past traumas; pesticides, additives, chemicals, air quality, water quality, and overall pollution; perfumes; negative people and situations in your life; etc.

I hope these tips are useful for you women out there experiencing PCOS and hormonal issues. Please remember that hormonal issues take time, and heck, even I am not 100% regular yet, but I am more regular and the healthiest I have ever been for sure. I even glow! The weight will come off, but be patient. We have done our bodies so much damage in the past; it takes time to recover.

It has taken me almost 4 years since I was 18 to get to where I am today, and that is just when I started experimenting with a better diet. It excludes the time I had been researching for a cure. Love yourself enough to give yourself the time you need to heal and progress. If need be, experiment with the above, and I am positive you will come up with similar if not identical results, especially if you are at your beginning stages. I experimented and gave my body a chance to heal, and I am so happy I did. Looking back, I have gotten my menstrual cycle around 8 to 9 times naturally without hormones or herbal meds last year in 2011 as opposed to 0 times from when I first had my period.

I am still on my journey, and continuously learning. I am more than happy to assist others in their journey as well, as helping others helps me to learn more about myself and about this "condition" so to say.

Spread the word to family, friends, and anyone else who may need some guidance with PCOS. Please direct them to this forum and to this discussion. The message needs to get out. There is a cure for PCOS! Have faith.

With love always,
<3

Dear fellow 30BaDers,

4 months ago, I wrote a long discussion on how I wanted to be off supplements and 100% LFRV by December 2011. I also wanted to get my period naturally without the use of meds, herbs, vitamin supplements etc.

Well, I just want to say that if anyone has ever told you PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) has no cure, you can use me as an example. I for years have been struggling with finding a natural "cure" for this problem. After getting my period NATURALLY on March, I have realized I finally found it:

~Sugar

~Water

~Sleep

~Exercise (lots... I used to be sedentary; now I CRAVE the gym and exercise!)

~Love and positive vibrations

~~meditation has done wonders for me too!

Although I have fallen back to some cooked food (grains, starchy veggies, and fried starchy root veggies have decided to pull a Trojan Horse Surprise Attack, but I will prevail!!) I have come back from Ghana with a new perspective on food, and to be honest, fruit quality over there is a lot better, but this further inspires me to just eat lotsa fruit and veggies, study harder, work harder, exercise harder, and just GO HARDER in life to achieve my goals--to get what I want for me.

All of this time, I have been depriving myself of the good stuff, thinking there was something wrong with me or that I didn't deserve it. Well, I deserve sleep, carbs, water, fitness, and love from my surroundings and from a loving partner. It's okay to do my body good, and it's not my problem if other people choose to be miserable and want me to be the same. I choose to be happy.

I have learned that in order to be in peace with oneself, one must be honest... and assertive. I assert my own rights to a happy and healthy life.

Do you? :)

With love,
<3

P.S. I am not 100% raw yet, but the fact I have gotten myself out of this supplement addiction (honestly, that's how I felt... used to take like almost more than a dozen pills daily!) makes me super happy. Now onto to the next step. These flight of stairs don't scare me.

P.P.S. Bananas are your friends; I couldn't have done it without them! :D Ok, going to bed early!

Hello all,

I'm 3 months into 811/vegan, 1,5years high raw/vegetarian before that. I'm very high raw.

I have some questions, I've read the 80-10-10 diet, I might need to reread cos I feel I've missed things.

1. How many grams of greens are advised on 811 per day?

2. Is it okay to snack on sundried sultana raisins when you have a sedentary job? I used to snack on nuts, sultanas give me some instant sugar. I keep fat intakes low, 15% or less, as a newbie, and I'm looking to improve that.

3. I am convinced of the dangers of milk. Problem is, I have a 3yr old daughter and come from a family of doctors. People question my strong opinion against milk, and claim my daughters needs calcium from milk, especially because she doesn't like greens.

My daughter eats a much higher fatty diet than I do. She does eat at least 5 pieces of fruit per day, on 3 years old. She doesn't like nutmylk or soymilk.

What can I give her to make sure she builds strong bones? I don't mind being called dogmatic or stuck in my beliefs, but I do mind if people attack me by using my daughter.

Any advice please?

Thanks! I love this place ♡

I'm not completely low fat, raw vegan yet but it is my intention to be so very soon. I'm currently eating more fruit in a day than I used to eat in a year or even my whole 24 years put together but I do still enjoy a cooked meal now and again, although after just 5 weeks of eating mostly fruit I can now easily see the damage it's doing to me with stomach cramps, general pain, bunging me up, pi***** me off! (but I like the taste and feel kind of addicted still)

I don't currently own the 80/10/10 book but will be ordering it this month, really looking forwards to reading after seeing what people here are saying about it :D

The problem I am having right now with the diet is being able to figure out which fruits to buy and in what quantity. I feel a bit daft having to google how to eat fruits I've always had available but never once tried!

Hello everyone,

I started 811 100% 10 months ago ( roughly). & even then I was under eating for the first few months without knowing it (before I found 30bad)
I was vegetarian for 4 years and vegan for 4 years before I went back to the SAD diet and became bulimic (throwing up anywhere from 5-12 times a day) aswell as anorexic. I can't remember how I stumbled into the world of eating disorders, but I fell and I fell HARD. I spent 4 years enduring this hell & my health suffered so greatly for it.

A list of my past health history:

born 2 pounds 12 ounces 3 months premature.

severe digestive issues my ENTIRE life.

IBS, UC, mild CROHNS, CONSTIPATION.

I abused sleeping pills + pain meeds severely for years.

I abused natural laxatives severally for years

I drank up to 14 cups of coffee a day.

I'd go DAYS without sleep.

I'd live on JUNK FOOD for months on end.

Sometimes not consuming vegetables or fruit for weeks.

I was SEVERELY DEHYDRATED.

I LIVED on SALT.

I had a SUPER HIGH FAT diet.

I would BINGE on every food under the sun & then THROW it all back up.

I went through MONTHS of EXTREME calorie restricting.

I have been DIETING since I was in GRADE 3.

My weight would YOYO 20-35 pounds monthly.

I LIVED on SPLENDA DIET DRINKS ASPARTAME & gum & ENERGY DRINKS.

I FASTED ALOT.

Severe depression/anxiety

Leaky Gut & food intolerances

Severe receding gums.
Heartburn.
CONSTANT stomach aches.
SEVERE BLOATING.
NO ENERGY without stimulants.
EXERCISE abuse.
Undiagnosed B-12 deficiency

When I began my journey into raw foods I was 87 pounds. At this time I was eating over 3000 calories a day of typical SAD foods (ice-cream, chocolate, pounds of honey). I had not binged/threw up, nor restricted my calories for a year prior to this. I wanted so bad to get to a normal weight and be healthy. My body was not absorbing ANY nutrients & I was following a "doctors" diet to put on weight quick. ( junk food, high fat, loaded with animal products) I even went back to eating meat during this time.

I spent 8 months eating everything in site and rapidly losing weight. (my stomach looked about 8 months pregnant though, I was so severely bloated) My hair was falling out in massive clumps and I was sick ( I had no energy, was constipated, couldn't focus, emotionally unstable). It seemed as if my body was rejecting food, everything in fact gave me horrible stomach aches (even fruit). I was an emotional mess and the doctors did every test known to man, yet nothing showed up as abnormal. They gave up & just sent me home. I gave up too & if it weren't for my family, I wouldn't be here today.

One day a thought crossed my mind to only eat fruit for a day, so I did. It was awful. My system was so screwed up that it couldn't handle digesting the fruit, as it was running into all the other fat/crap stored in my body. After that I spent a few weeks going back and fourth from cooked crap to fruit. Everything raw tasted awful, I couldn't go near vegetables. I didn't know how to pick properly ripe fruit, and was not following food combining. I felt just as crappy eating raw as I did normally eating SAD.

It was a super tough transition for me, I got even sicker, lost more weight and felt way worse then before. By week two I was covered in what appeared to be cellulite (I'd never had a tiny bit before). I was terrified, bloated to heck and back, rapidly ganging and losing weight, moody, had intense cravings for cooked food, and losing my hair even worse then before. To top it off my face broke out something awful, I couldn't sleep and had no energy. This went on for 1.5 months.

However I knew what I was doing was somehow "right". I'm not going to lie, I almost went back to the SAD life more then once in my first month. But a little voice in the back of my head kept telling me to keep going and push through all this. Well, I'm glad I did. My detoxing still is in progress even after 8 months. & given my health history I don't expect it to end anytime soon.

What I've experienced so far after being HCRV FOR 10 MONTHS….

My skin is CLEAR

My hormones have balanced out & I'm starting to get my PERIOD regularly ( I had not had it for the last 5 years).
My sex drive is through the roof!

I have ALOT more ENERGY then I've ever had in years.

I SLEEP soundly

My depression/ anxiety is almost GONE

I rarely get STOMACH aches unless I don't follow food combining.

I've healed ALOT of my food ALLERGIES. Except nightshades & citrus

Mentally I'm a lot more ALERT

I've gained and maintained a healthy weight

My hair is growing super think & strong.

My gums are growing back.

My nails are strong.

My digestion is near AMAZING,

I'm more out going and confident,

I can work out without "sups"

I no longer crave cooked food

My taste buds are so sensitive & in tune to new flavors

I haven't gotten sick ( no colds, flu etc) even though I'm exposed to sick people everyday

My cellulite is gone almost 100%

My fitness has increased swell as my stamina

I have a new lease of life, diet and health

I have had no desire to go back to my eating disorder ways.

I can eat INSANE amounts

I can DRINK insane amounts

I only crave overt fats when I'm undercarbed
NO HEARTBURN!
My body feels at peace ( I used to feel very out of it & close to death).

I'm a girl.
I'm 20.
I'm 5'6.
I'm 134 pounds. I have stopped gaining weight ( so far) & notice my body fat percentage going down as I'm exercising more & more.
I eat 3000-7000 calories a day.

Since starting the 811 diet I've gained 47 pounds. does it bother me? No, not in the least. I spent YEARS abusing, starving, beating up my poor body. The damage I did took YEARS to build up. It will take YEARS to undo it. But sticking to the 80-10-10 diet 100% and getting enough exercise etc is the ONLY thing that will get me back to a healthy fit body. It's a LIFESTYLE , not a "quick" fix.

I did not come to 30bad for a quick fix ( anyone who does will be disappointed and isn;'t ready to take charge and change their entire life in my opinion!), or simply to lose weight ( or to find a diet that could help me maintain an anorexic weight if I restricted my cals), nor did I expect that being a LFRV would FIX EVERYTHING. It's a diet people, not a miracle. You're entire health is not composed of DIET & DIET alone. True it plays a huge part, but it's not EVERYTHING.

Look at every LONG TERM fruity.

Are they over weight?

Do they have chronic health complaints?

Are they still "detoxing" ( not healing, that's different) after years and years?

The answer is NO.

So if you've come to 30bad and have an eating disordered past ( even unintentionally) it AIN'T GONNA BE EASY. You're going to suffer for the first few weeks/months. you're going to gain weight ( providing you eat enough) & you're going to detox. But you know what?

stay strong. stay inspired. love yourself enough to give 811 a chance for a year +.

If you don't do 811 100% you won't FEEL 100%

IT'S WORTH IT. & anyone who tells you otherwise, isn't worth your time!
