It derived from a cross country bicycle tour from New York to California in 2014. I prepared meals outside that were healthy, quick and easy to make. All the meals were prepared from my SnowPeak solo camp stove and the food at markets and gas stations.

Take a look inside! You can download a copy 08/15 - 08/19. I believe my book is the answer to many people who camp and/or bike tour who worry about food and other meals to prepare while out on extended or even short weekend adventure. It's also a book you can adapt to your own style of cooking and perhaps change your perspective overall.

In addition to the food I have 4 stories from the road of my favorite places I've traveled through in the U.S. These locations include Kansas, Colorado, Nevada and Virginia. I'm really psyched on the images because they really take me back to when I was on this trip. I'm pumped for this and hope it can be of help to many of you who are planing a trip or looking at getting creative at the camp site.

Lastly please leave an honest review.

Link to Book: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JGKVKUS#navbar

Hi guys,

I wonder if you could help me. I started the RT4 a week ago. I have been struggling to eat all the calories, a morning 6 banana smoothie takes me until 12 pm to finish without being able to add the load of water recommended on the diet. I feel incredibly stuffed (so I do not finish all the foods in its recommended amounts), constantly bloated, visiting the loo 5/6 times a day. I am bloated also when I wake up in the morning. This is extremely uncomfortable at work so I do struggle with this a lot. Please help!

I eat a banana smoothie with some frozen berries or dates in the morning and a mixed berries or orange/apple smoothie for lunch or sometimes mixed fruit "salad". My stomach feels full although at times I do feel hungry, but I cannot physically add more food in my system. To compensate for these unfinished meals I have been upping the calories by eating dried fruits such as prunes/peaches/tropical fruits. Is this even a good way? there is not much said about the dried fruit or even nuts in the videos or web here...

The first two days when I included nuts and veg in my diet and had an approx fat intake of about 30-40 g I lost 0,5 kg in 2 days and had a flatter stomach in the morning, however when I concentrated only on the fruit and almost no fat and some cooked meal in the evening (max daily fat intake 15-20 g) I was each following morning heavier and heavier. Now I am at a higher weight than my starting weight.

I have these questions to all of you to keep me motivated to continue:

If you started gaining weight how long did it take until it went back down? I started this diet to shed some weight I put on after having some health issues. My regular weight is 48/49kg (now about 4 months ago), now I am at 54, I am desperate to lose the weight back to feel comfortable again as this is the most I have weight in 10 years :(

How long does it take to get the body used to the new diet?- so that I am not bloated/going to the toilet so often?

Can I eat dried fruit to up my calories? Or what other foods can I up my calories with? I am afraid to just add sugar as I do not to supplement fruit with sugar.

How long before and after meal do you drink to not feel sickish? When I mix the two together the food keeps coming back.

Thank you!

But shes verry much in calories restriction!

I do love her and shes also my motivaton in many things that I do in my life! From the begining of this I have been able to hid the fact I have been doing this fruit diet! But 2 days in a row I cheated because I couldn't say no to her home cooking. Since she maide it vegan and yes I have been vagan before coming on this fruit diet!

But the thing is that it had tofu and tufu chesse and coconut oil in it!!And when I look at her and said I can't eat she just got angry and cunfused.

I need to share this situation with some "like minded people" (banana-friends)

I have done low fat vegan for 2 years loving it. I do potatoes and veggies soup, but other than that I do fruit. Lots of green smoothies.

Lost 10 pounds and no more achne. (Im 40 and before this my face looked like a bad non vegan pizza)

BUT I stil have migraines.

I have had more than 15 migraines every month for years.

The migraine medicin triptan works very well every time, but the side effect with that is rebound headaches. So I have just been of all medicin for that reason for 8 weeks. It was hell. The pain was worse than giving birth (Yes Im a mom) But I gor through with lots of meditation, prayers and acceptance.

Here is my huge dillema.

The headache specialist hospital now want me on bloodpressure medicin as a preventitive for migraines. I have perfect bloodpressure. 118/75

I asked what are the side effects and he said something about potassium.

Me: WHAT!!!! Him: "Yeah but thats not a problem, just dont eat to much fruit"

Me: But Im vegan. 70% of my diet is fruit and the rest is potatoes and veggies and very few nuts and seeds.

Him: Well it just means that instead of apple juice you just have an apple.

Me:I dont dont drink applejuice, thats not the point. I eat minimum 10 bananas a day + mongoes, dates ect.

Him: Okay we just messure your blood now and after 2 months on medication.

I go home and I find this on line. http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/hyperkalemia-causes-symptoms-treatments

Now my dillema is:

My husband is not vegan and tired of me not getting better with the migraines,so he is much more open to the doctors answers. Hes sweet and gets that this is my body...but still.

I believe I can heal this migraine but how?

They really think Im crazy at the migraine specialists when I talk about the vegan diet still having 15 + migraine days a month.

Just needed to share this.

Much love and fruit to you all.

Gitte from Denmark.

I quickly found the HCLF fruit & veg lifestyle and I haven't looked back.

I've also started running 10k races, I have never been a runner in my life, I used to hate it. Now I can actually breathe!

The first few months were tough, giving up meat and dairy was easy for me but the processed salt/fat filled stuff was hard. Sticking to it, and taking one day at a time is what worked. It has taken me about a full year to really get used to it and now I feel I can do this for the rest of my life.. the best advice I have heard is.. be patient.

Here are some before and afters.. the first one is just hours after my baby was born (at home!) Oh and for anyone expecting a baby..

Im a 17 year old girl from the UK. Almost three weeks ago I turned vegan and wanted to follow the high carb raw till 4 vegan lifestyle. It started of well in the first week as I didn't tell my parents and just cut all the meat, dairy and eggs out. I went and bought about 20 bananas to add in replacement for the animal products. Soon enough though my mum found out, I showed her freelee's videos and my mum decided to go vegan too which was nice as I had some support. A few days later I needed to buy some more bananas so I went with mum to ASDA, she waited in the car whilst I went shopping. When I returned she noticed that I had bought 65 bananas and was outraged. I tried to explain to her why but she couldn't understand, she said I was obsessed which upset me but I shrugged it off. Our next shop (end of week 2) I added 30 bananas to the trolley including other fruit, veg, pasta and rice, it came to £50. She then continued to think that I was getting obsessed and said that this has to stop. My dad wasn't as supportive either, he began saying that im abnormal and going mad. I explained to them why, but they continued to think I was getting carried away and that we couldn't afforded it, (even though the bill was actually less than usual). She spoke to my dad about it and I over heard their conversation about me. I offered to pay for the bananas and gave my mum money towards the bill, she took the money but it hasn't changed anything. This is where I'm up to now. I feel so alone. I don't have any vegan friends and my non vegan friends don't understand. Am I getting obsessed? What should I do? Thank you.

Sure, not all yogi's are vegan or eating 30 bananas a day, but they certainly tend to gravitate towards more of a plant based diet than the average person, and more importantly would probably be far more likely to consider becoming a vegetarian or a vegan if they are presented with the the information and inspiration that we have than the average person.

In so many other forms of fitness (especially bodybuilding and virtually any form of "competitive" sport" out there) there is such a strong belief by many who are involved in them that, "I'm an athelete and I work-out so I need to eat meat in order to get enough protein¨, but again, show me the person who says "I do yoga so I have to eat meat." I just don´t see that happening.

I also want to say that almost half of these poses are poses that I just came up with when filming this project. I've been doing yoga for years and have never really thought of new poses before, but for some reason once I started this project I was thiking of new yoga poses without even trying to and I was happening so often that I kept waking up in the middle of the night and turning the light on so I could draw poses that were just popping up in my mind. I hope that some of these new poses will find their way into yoga charts, yoga classes, and individual person's routines.

For anyone curious, the yoga poses in this video that I came up with were...

* King Lotus Pose
* Medievel Pose
* Frozen Lotus
* Walrus Pose
* Baby Dragon In Egg Pose
* Flower Blooming Pose
* Seashell Pose
* Yin Yang Pose 1
* Yin Yang Pose 2
* God Pose
* Devil Pose
* Upsidedown Goddess Pose
* Balance Pose
* Tangled Roots Pose
* Tangled Roots Leaning Towards The Sun Pose
* Tangled Tip Toe Pose
* Intense Stretch On Tip Toes
* Wheel Pose On Fingers And Toes
* Bow And Arrow Pose 2
* Warrior Pose 4
* Lightning Headstand
* Temple Pose
* Straightjacket Pose
* Corpse Pose In Rigor Mortis
* Head To Knee Pose Intense Stretch
* Master Of Puppets Pose
* Standing On Your Hands While Doing A Backbend
* Headstand In Hell Pose
* Fight Or Flight Pose
* Caught In A Web Pose
* Severed Limbs Pose
* Space Travel Pose
* Infinity And Beyond Pose
* Unicorn Pose
* Sun Worship Pose
* One Hand Pose
* Energy Circulation Pose
* Mosquito Pose
* Standing Hands To The Floor With Arms Crossed
* X Handstand
* Balancing Diamond Pose
* Castle Drawbridge Pose
* Once Continuous One Pose
* Court Jester Headstand

I almost don´t feel right saying that I ¨thought¨ of these poses, because there was absolutely no thinking involved. They just showed up in my mind and since I performed them the best that I could.

I want to thank my friend and fellow 30BAD member Carine Martine for hooking me up with a place to stay and to film this video in Costa Rica. Thank you Carine! The inspiration for new yoga poses was no doubt highly influenced by being able to spend time in nature.

This will help me to get off raw cocoa again :) Thank youAlso by any chance does anyone have a very good video/article about the dangers of pesticides in raw fruit and vegetables that could give me? I'm trying to persuade my parents to buy local, seasonal and organic food but my debate on why this food is much better than the cheaper regular food found in shops is weak! :/ hoping to strengthen it and to back it up with horrific videos about health damages of food with pesticides.Also does anyone know why you should buy only local and seasonal? Sometimes is hard, especially in the winter where only apples and pears are available!! (I live in Ireland)Thank you very much people! Hope you can help! XxxXxxx

First I just want to thank everybody for all the response and help I got from the post about Dr Graham versus Dr McDougal, where I shared how much I have suffered with migraines. When I started this lifestyle a lot of people said that 30bananasaday was not a nice site with nice people. OMG I have never been any where on line where people give more of their energy and time to help others. Amazing banana people here. THANK U!

Im still not 100% raw in winter, (I live in Denamrk, and I m too cold if I go 100% raw. i know a lot of you will say that thats not so, but that is my experince) where I have patatoe soup with a butternut squasch or pumpkin ect at night and lots of veggies like selleri and spinach.

Well I found out that it wasnt the cooked low fat food or the riped bananas giving me migraines. It was migraine medicin.

When I get a migraine I can take a triptan (migraine medicin) and the migraine is normally gone within 30 minutes. I still dont feel on top of my game after the medicin kicks in, but the knife through my head and the vomiting stops. There is no pain killers in Triptans. They work specific on getting the bloodvessels back to normal size in the head - and when that happens the migraines head pains go away.

But there is a problem. If you take them more than twice a week you risk getting rebound headaches. For me that meant going for 6 years waiking up with a migraine every morning at five. Now, if you right now think: "how on earth could it take her 6 years to find out that the medicin was the problem?" I know!

Theese are not excuses but explanations.

I grew up with a very smart, goodlooking, very succesfull mother and a father who was a huge drinker. I dont mean he was drinking sometimes. I Mean Alcoholic with a big A. The last 11 year of his life he ended up in a nursing home not able to talk or move. So even though I know with my intellect that I would never end up like that, in my cell memory from childhood I had the limiting belief (still working on that one) that either I had to be perfect (all A student. Yes I cant spell in english perfect, but today I dont care. You try to write in your second lauguage) or I would die. Be like your mom or dad - thats the black and white choice. That means I have an inner "performance - have to be perfect - monster" inside who likes to run the show. Think about it. Im a public speaker waiking up for 6 year with a migraine having two chioces. 1. Take a tritan and go and do your job as a speaker, coach, writer with deadlines and being a wife and mother. 2. Dont take the triptan and stay in bed with knives through your head (Oh yes child birth is nothing compered to this pain).

I did try more than 10 times to get out of the medicin but its not a one try thing and then you have succes. Im born with a migraine brain, meaning that that is my bodys weakest link. Thats whats saying hello Gitte you are out of balance here. But I have had the stregth to have succes getting off medicin with 811. Why? because even though the detox period for a few days are bad, its a lot faster for my body to detox now. I have also much more energy and great body image after loosing 8 kilos. So all in all Im just stronger and happier on 811.

Even though I have known for years to limit my medicin to less than twice a week, and I did follow that, I still got rebound headaches. Now the reason I thought it might be something I ate (like bananas or cooked low fat vegan food) was that all migraine specialists and doctors said that rebound headaches couldnt happen, if you tke triptans less than twice a week. I really wanted to believe that, and it being so hard to not take the medicin, i tried the "easy" way out, which was thinking "It must be bananas or something I eat." Also because I have known for years that bananas are a trigger for lots of migraine patients. But i Guess my body did reach the tipping point with the triptans. I have put that poison in my body for years and know I get the rebound headaches even if I take one a week. What I do know is ride the migraine out when its there if I can bare the pain. If its a level 10 pain on a 10 which happened last week when I had a speech to give for a huge comapany, I take 1/2 a triptan, and then I can function.

I so feel that 80/10/10 in some ways have been part of my miracle cure even though I still get migraines if Im too stressed or during period. It has gotten my focus back on natural health. That the bodys pain has an important message. That every dis-ease has a physical and emotional component to it. When I eat clean Im more mentally aware and awake. Also loosing weight feeling amazing (Other than migraine I havent even had a cold for 10 year, so I dont get sick ever) Never being hungry, never having cravings for junk food and eating unlitted calories is such a party for me. Also Durianriders tip for me when I did a podcast episode with him (find it at iTunes under enerGittes talkshow) about drinkin a liter of water, waiting 30 minutes before having breakfast. OMG! Now I drink all the water, have one date and powerwalk for 60 minutes, come home and have banana smoothie. I Feel good, la la la la la la....like I knew that I would now......la, la,la, la, la, la laaaaa... No more daily little headpains, and no more skin problems. Before my face had so many pimples I looked like a pizza with cheese.

I wanted to share my 811 story "from BIG pain to energy happiness and a little pain, with U. Lets inspire and help eachother with no judgement. People are all doing the best they can with the knowledge they have in the moment. When you know better, you do better. After I found 811, when I interviewed Alicia Grant as research for my migraine book, I know better.

So please share every experience you have with getting rid of pain being on 811.

Did you stop all medicin cold turkey (or cold banana)?

How fast did you feel better?

Did you find yourself allergic to surden fruits and veggies?

Have you done fasting to detox or has 811 been enpough?

We learn through succes stories.

I cant tell you have many time I have written in Google: How I got rid of migraines. If we were paying for calories, and having in mind that 10 - 15 % of calories from fruits and veggies do not count, we would have our perfect food for more reasonable prices and more people who be motivated economically to go this path.

What do you think guys? Does this make sense?

Hello everyone. Today I came back from a run, went outside to get some vitamin D... Came back insid, mother, brothers... Standing there saying I'm underweight and violently turning me around back an forth to see my ribs, which aren't even that visible, and saying I'm anorexic. I'm 16, 6"1 and weigh 137. I became HCRV six weeks ago and was 144 at the time. I eat 3000 calories a day, most likely more, and on weekends when I work I normally eat 4500. My mother is insisting I go back to a cooked veggie diet. No. Hell no. And worst of all she's thinking of taking me to my pediatrician to ask about my diet. Ugh. Is there any way to ensure her that I'm fine? I'm certainly not starving. I feel great. Would a pediatrician make a mockery of this lifestyle? Any help would be appreciated/and also past occurrences on if this happened to you. Thanks!
