It derived from a cross country bicycle tour from New York to California in 2014. I prepared meals outside that were healthy, quick and easy to make. All the meals were prepared from my SnowPeak solo camp stove and the food at markets and gas stations.

Take a look inside! You can download a copy 08/15 - 08/19. I believe my book is the answer to many people who camp and/or bike tour who worry about food and other meals to prepare while out on extended or even short weekend adventure. It's also a book you can adapt to your own style of cooking and perhaps change your perspective overall.

In addition to the food I have 4 stories from the road of my favorite places I've traveled through in the U.S. These locations include Kansas, Colorado, Nevada and Virginia. I'm really psyched on the images because they really take me back to when I was on this trip. I'm pumped for this and hope it can be of help to many of you who are planing a trip or looking at getting creative at the camp site.

Lastly please leave an honest review.

Link to Book: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JGKVKUS#navbar

Crazy, right?

This site has given me so much. Most notably, it granted me a sense of community that I needed big time, and has shaped my ideals for a support network that are now being realized even more tangibly in my life.

Honestly, it's been awhile since I've visited here. I gotta say, I'm impressed, by a few things:

1) Aimee's 'Spring Into Action' thread is still going strong! Amazing. Like 6 years now!

2) The vibe is still high! This question & answer, discussion, free-flow of interaction works so well with a group with a positive attitude.

3) How the scope of the site has been opened up, without compromise! I remember when Give It To Me Raw forum opened up past raw vegan foods, and the proverbial floodgates let loose a flurry of chaotic dialogue. Though, it spawned 30BAD! And here, things are still very much in forward momentum.

What brought me here today is the chance to offer to you all is my new cookbook! I have focused a lot of energy to collect a guide of information and cherished recipes in the Homestyle Vegan Cookbook.

All recipes and recommendations in this book are tailored within the guidelines of Raw Till 4. It features 26 complete-meal recipes that are high-carbohydrate, oil-free, low-sodium, minimally-cooked, gluten-free, and truly delicious.

They have stood the test of time & trials, as these are mostly recipes that have been in my family for multiple generations; classics of various cultures that have been taken to the highest standards of nutritional presentation.

The guide also features recommendations for the essential tools to have in your kitchen and items in your pantry, with specific trusted brand recommendations and where to find them!

Additionally, there is a complete cooking guide for preparing a range of vegetables, grains, and beans, including specific cook times and methods for various types, and instructions for the healthiest types of cooking methods.

If this sounds like something that may be of service to you, I invite you to check out more of the story and purchase Homestyle Vegan here.

On this page I go into more detail about what you can find within the pages, and also give links to YouTube videos that I've been featured in where I show off the recipes and book.

Thanks for taking the time with me on this post. For doing so, I'd like to offer you this exclusive 30BAD discount!

The book includes a full satisfaction guarantee, without expiration.

Regardless, I'm happy to have the opportunity to revisit the site, and be so pleasantly familiarized with this place and its members in the current phase.

Keep up the great work!

-Ry

So, I don't know where I saw it (I cant remember) but I remember seeing quinoa being high in fat (in terms of %) which freaked me out for one but two, annoyed me a little because coming onto this lifestyle (which I love, don't get me wrong) was already sacrificing A LOT of things I couldn't eat, I like to have 'some' variety in my diet (I mostly eat salads - yes I know, contradicting the variety part... anyway moving on, yes so potatoes once a week, pasta every few weeks, rice once every month or two months if that..I cant cook rice that well or make it taste nice so yeah aha)
All I want to know is
1. Is it low in fat?
2. Would you eat it or just stick to rice/pasta/potatoes
3. Should I just not worry if I only eat it once a week?
4. HELLLLLLLLLP.

Okay guys I need some help, when it comes time for dinner I either want to have fruit or want to have some greens and lately I've been really craving some zucchini noodle salad and the works but every single time I eat the salad I feel really bloated in the morning. This does not happen when I have a huge Fruitvale but always happens when I have a huge zucchini noodles salad. Is it because I'm not used to having salad as much as I've been having all fruit days? They contain no overt fats and are within 80 1010 standards. I do have them late at night and right before I go to bed could that be a problem? I usually don't have this problem when I eat fruit though. Please help I've been a raw vegan since July so maybe it could be that I'm not used to it but I've been on the high carb vegan life since last year but then for a couple months I fell off the wagon and again this January and I was still raw till four. Please please please help if anybody knows what I can do maybe drink more water or eat earlier but I don't know if those are the problems! I wake up VERY bloated
image.jpg

Since going vegan, I have quite obviously found myself to be so much more compassionate toward animals. I've watched many animal ethics documentaries, one of which being the popular "Earthlings". It completely changed the way I look at raw meat. Everything about it repulses me to my core.

I live with two meateaters, and I have found it increasingly more difficult to even see Animal in the fridge, sitting casually next to my delicious coconut water, let alone actually prepare it in dinners like I once did. Obviously, it is not my "job" to make homemade meals for two men. It was even a loved activity once upon a time. But, I simply cannot get over my aversion to handling a carcass or throwing it into the oven. (I actually am getting a gag reflex just typing this.)

Serving them vegan dinners, at the present time, is out. They are not wildly objective to eating a huge, colorful, yummy plate of vegan food or even a rawtill4 delicacy like soups and currys, but they just will not eat this time and time again. Of course, these are adult men and they are able-bodied to serve themselves their own food.

I am wondering..Do any of you prepare dishes with meat in them for your nonvegan family? Has your lifestyle shaken up the dynamics if your usual role was the dinner-preparer? Please share about your feelings if you cook a dinner with meat alternatively to your own.

Thanks and looking to hear from you guys.

I think, should I just have cooked food (usually steamed potatoes and lettuce) or a salad?

If I have potatoes I usually still crave sweet after and if I have salad I'm still hungry even if there's no more room to put a single bite more. I can't have fruit after a meal, bad food combo. So how much fruit would you eat before lettuce / salad meal?

My other issue is my Husband. He hasn't fully transitioned to fruitarian, but he's getting there. He works late and doesn't come home until 8pm he still desires cooked foods like gluten free pasta, potatoes, "veggie meat", sauces and condiments. I usually end up snacking around this time because why? I didn't get what I needed from my 4-5pm meal?

I've been HCRV for about 6 weeks and I still have cravings for pizza and fast foods that I use to eat but mostly pizza. I haven't had significant weight loss I stay pretty stable, but no weight gain which is good so I'm just being patient.

I'd appreciate any feedback
~Kawesome <3

Hey fruity people

I've spent sneaking around on this page for ages, but finally I really need some help :-)

After being 100% raw for about 9 months, I went back to vegan cooked food while living abroad (have been vegan since I'm 15 years old...).

Now I'm back in Switzerland and am eating raw fruit during the day and for dinner cooked carbs (mostly white rice, sometimes corn products) with raw greens. I'd feel better 100% raw but as a student fruit is really expensive here, it is so hard to get organic fruit and as it is getting colder I really enjoy the warm rice.

It is going quite good, I've to drink a lot of water because of the rice and am having a hard time getting enough sleep, but I feel a huge difference to eating normal oily and salty vegan food.

Now my question:

Soon the classes start and I'm having issues on planing my dinners. From monday to wednesday I've classes in the evenings. That means from 3 pm to 9 pm. That causes me BIG problems because that's the time I usually eat a lot of fruit and am having dinner.

So what would you recommend me: Should I eat my rice before going to class and then just have some fruit in between (that will be quite bad for my digestion) or eat rice before and eat nothing until the next morning (hard to get all the calories in before, but maybe possible) or just prepare my dinner before going to class and eat it right after coming home (means I'll eat at 9.30 and go to bed around 11 to kind of get a good amount of sleep)??

I'm getting really nervous thinking about it, because I want to stay healthy/get healthier and don't want to cause myself digestive issues...

It got quite long, but I'd really appreciate your help :-)

Hope to get to know you guys better soon.

Hugs

I've always wondered about this.Any help, or even any other tips about racing, would be greatly appreciated. Everybody’s bodies were built differently, and not everyone’s body looks the same. We all have our own version of healthy. You shouldn’t hurt yourself to get a flat tummy or a gap between your thighs. You shouldn’t obsess over those things, because it isn’t always attainable. Reach for your version of healthy. Be the healthiest you can be, and your body will look the best it can be. And if you don't have a gap between your thighs, a flat stomach, or awesome abs, so what? You are taking amazing care of your body so it can preform it's best and look it's best. Don't strive for "perfection", because perfection doesn't exist. I tend to bloat very, very easily and was wondering if any of you have any suggestions for a snack that will not upset my sensitive stomach.(Would a smoothie be okay? What would you put in one?)
