I had just finished my workout tonight and making some fresh raw juice. So I grab a hand full of spinach and think that's a good name for a vegan movie. That or Fist Full of Spinach. Then I start thinking of other vegan movie titles. Sure we've had Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and Milagro Bean Field War (great film). But what about others like:

What Films, Doco's, Interviews have inspired Journey..??

They could be Animal Lib, Athletic, Health, Activist, Adventure, Passion, Paradise, Nature, Consciousness, Tribal, Visionary, Cult, Knowledge, Love or simply Beautiful..

And they don't have to be your all time favorite either, simply films that you feel others here would get a kick out of, maybe a tear, maybe your film suggestion will change the course of someones life..

Films are very powerful in this sense, they can transform and activate what I call our Multidimensional Self, our Quantum Essence where we gain access to Infinity and our own unique Gifts and Talents that are most often sleeping dormant. Powerful films can break our programmed conditioning, habits and our linear thought patterns to see life with fresh eyes and to get out there and live our dreams.. We can too often get stuck with Blinkers on, so here is your chance to share life through Rainbow coloured glasses.

I'm looking for some inspiration myself for a film that I need to finish, it is part Nature, Tribal, Surfing, Exploration, Consciousness, Dolphins, StarBeing, Earth Changes, Fruitarian, Simplicity, Creativity, Love and Community.. I'm not a big movie buff, or have the time and bandwidth, but inspiration moves mountains so I will find a way to see any film that chimes my heart. It's inspiring content involves Exploration, Characters, Creatives, Hippies and Consciousness.. The Coconut Revolution ~ Now this is a Doco that hits my heart and brings me home.. I was born in New Guinea and love the Earth, Ocean and People there dearly, it is my Home. Bougainville is a very sacred and powerful Island Culture that has suffered immense pain and atrocity mainly through negligent greedy mining and political genocide.. This doco shows how the people stood up for their Gardens and Forests, their families and culture, the rivers and all life, and they did it in the most Grass Roots fashion you can imagine. An estimated 25% of the entire population was lost to resulting War, around 20 000 humans died defending their sacred gardens and culture.. Ellen Degeneres is a vegan now, will you assist me in suggestions to her please?

Ellen has recently been made aware visually of atrocities going on in the holocaust on animals. She was a "vegetarian" before and would flop over to cheeseburgers, but is now strict vegan. She has just made this change so I know she needs time to morph, however I think Ellen is SO influential (she won 2009 peoples choice award for best talk show), and I believe that she is very honest and has great integrity. I think she will do the "right thing". She has just recently had the author of EATING ANIMALS on her show, so she is going in a good direction. I see Ellen on my hikes here in LA, we go to the same spot. I could introduce myself if she were to recognize my efforts on her forum. But my discussions will need some backup. I have posted discussions on her forum site with suggestions:1. She is still featuring Wolfgang Puck as a chef on her site. He prepares lamb, veal, beef, duck..every other animal too (although the only recipes posted on Ellen of his are vegan, I still dont think she should want to promote him anyway). I have suggested Sarma be featured instead. Please add to my discussion here2. She has a thread on her site to suggest guests. I have suggested the maker of the film EARTHLINGS ("the vegan maker"), Shaun Monson. Please add requests to see him on her show here3. She is part owner of Halo pet foods.
