Hello.

If anyone lives in Germany, Berlin (central part), can you please help me to buy ~30 bananas in advance? I'll be there 14.09.19, so I want my bananas to be ripe at that moment. So I need someone who can help me to buy 30 bananas (conventional is ok) about one week before my arrival (~7 september, +-1day, 6days to 1 week is enough time to get brown spots in my experience). The scheme in my mind is: I send you some euros (you tell me the estimate price) via Paypal (+some additional fee for you help). You buy me bananas and store them until 14.09.19. At that day I ride to your address and get them ripe.

Or may be you can help with me some other solutions: - place in Berlin where I can buy spotty bananas with high probability; - people with online vegan shops in Berlin, where I can pay for them in advance (and just get the week later when I arrive).

Thanks a lot!

Hey everyone :)

I'm a senior and I need to decide what major I want to study, but it's not very easy. I want to study in Germany. I'm very interested in the human body and I love to understand how everything works inside our complex system, but I don't know if medicine is what I'm looking for (I'm kinda disgusted of blood PLUS I don't like how doctors are rather business people nowadays and how there's a pill for everything. Modern medicine is great but there's a limit and nearly everyone's crossing it... so dunno if this is what I'm looking for tbh).

I also love nutrition, REALLY love it, but I know standard nutrition is completely different than plant based nutrition.. I don't wanna study everything that I am against :P (protein = meat, calcium = dairy, carbs = fat and calories = the enemy. Bullshit)

I thought about Sportwissenschaft (sport science) but I don't know what I would do later on in my life.. I've always liked Sport but it's never really been my passion.. I don't think it's the right major for me. :S

SO HELP please :P

It's really frustrating.. Anyone studying in germany?

Hi everyone,

I am quite new to this lifestyle and hope to get some guidance and support in the beginning. =)

Years ago, after my graduation, I stopped my daily exercises literally overnight and that
was the worst decision I've ever made. I thought I wouldn't have the time anymore and
told myself I would keep the body my exercises formed. Restrospective I am not surprised at
all that I gained weight, became a couch potato and finally tried out almost every diet to
lose weight during the last ten years. It was very frustrating because every weight loss didn't last long and I gained even more weight.

Then I reached the stage of self-pity and gave up.
I lost all my self-confidence, felt ugly and isolated myself more and more from all.
At the end of the last year my colleague told me about her best friend who recently became vegan to lose some weight...and I got interested.

I did a lot of research, bought some books and then finally tried out this so called 30 day challenge on my own this year. The author is quite famous for his books here in Germany and there are a lot of people who follow his vegan nutrition succesfully. After my 30 days I had lost only 3 kg but I felt better than ever. Nevertheless his kind of meals were too complex and expensive for me and so I started to do some research again. I was so inspired when I found Freelee's videos and some interesting Instagram accounts that I wanted to try this as well. So I slowly started to add fruits and vegetables to my meals, then had fix vegan days (RT4) within the week and now I feel ready to switch completely to RawTill4.

I feel sorry for the lost years, but I am finally able to admit that I am the only one who can make a change in my life - and here I am! My aim is to improve my fitness again and lose something between 10 - 15 kg. Furthermore I'd like to connect with other vegan people =)

Greetings from Germany

So, here's the newest thing that comes from Germany - a country I sadly call my neighbors since I'm Austrian: It's called "Meine Kleine Farm - Wir geben Fleisch ein Gesicht" (transl. "My Little Farm - We Give Meat A Face"), an online meat-ordering service where customers can select their favorite pig to get slaughtered and made into bite-sized meat chunks.

But they didn't stop there. In memory of the sacrifice the pig made for the consumer to have a tasty meal of heart attack sausage, they put the piggy's photo on the packaging...

Dennis Buchmann, who came up with the idea has declared that he "is on a mission to change the way consumers think about meat. He thinks people should eat less meat and show more respect to the animals."

Their Website (in German): http://www.meinekleinefarm.org/

I mean it's great that he tries to show where the sausage came from to the consumer, who seems to have completely forgotten that meat products actually come from living, breathing beings.

If he really wanted to make consumers change their viewpoint and have respect for the animals, then he should be sending them a DVD with the full horrific depiction of how they killed that poor little pig.
Maybe consumers can select in which way to exactly slaughter the poor thing next. Rod to the brain? Slashing the throat? There will be an extra charge for that, of course...

But, Dennis unfortunately "doesn’t want to make consumers feel bad about eating meat"... I think that he just failed his mission...

This story just made me so mad, I can't even sill still right now! WTF???

What do you 30BaDers think?

40991-300-295.jpg
