It's called MyNetDiary. There's a free version and a pro version that's $3.99. The free version doesn't let you customize your carb/fat/protein ratios like the pro version does, but it's still good. I'm sure a lot of you have already discovered this app, but for those of you who haven't, I would definitely recommend checking this one out! It's also got a bunch of other features for weight loss/maintenance planning and what not.

I said most of this in another thread, but I figured I'd start a new one to be more on-topic.

I fly around a decent amount, and it's always an issue trying to find a place to get good fruit when I don't know the area. So, I wanted to make an iPhone app to list 811-friendly places around your location, so you could easily find somewhere to buy organic fruit, get bulk fruit, homestay, or whatever you needed when traveling. Someone made a site called 811-friendly.net, which I think is a good starting point, and I'm going to ask if I can include that existing data in the app. My idea is that people would be more likely to contribute and add their local go-to places if they could do so on their phone. That way, we could build a database of all the best places to hit up when traveling, and add comments about them, etc. Would anyone be interested in such a thing?

--

Also, some people have mentioned wanting cronometer and website functionality in an app. I could do this also, though it wouldn't be an exact replica of cronometer. But it would allow you to track calories, exercise, carb/fat/protein ratios, look up nutritional info for foods, and keep a daily record. I don't know if Freelee and DR already have plans for making a 30BaD app (??), but if not, I would love integrate the website if you guys want to help. Since the site already has some RSS feeds, browsing new posts would be super easy. Making new posts and looking up profiles, etc. from the app would be cool too though.

--

Comments? Ideas? Would you guys use something like this? Or, is there something else that would be cool to add?

When we choose a goal to focus on and make it stand out by sharing it with others, it is very likely that this goal will manifest itself before you know it :)

I truly look forward to seeing these responses and learning from them.

For me:

In 2010 I began doing a lot of goal setting. Both daily to-do lists, and long term goals with achievement plants helped me become a lot moreproactive. I think it was because I read so many inspiring personal development books and easy2read business books that enforced this habit of goal setting into my daily doings.

I recently achieved one of my long term goals which was to get a triathlon coach.

Having a coach will help keep me focused, inspired, and hopefully get me to the top of my game just in time for Ironman Canada this summer!

I also recently manifested an iPhone 4 for xmas which is changing everything!!

I can now have the best communication with my clients, book them in for sessions, and send them files on the palm of my hand!

Just a note to say that I've been using an app called LOSE IT. It's free (yay) and it's a great way to track your food intake and exercise output. Once you set up a goal weight, it figures out your base calories (which you can adjust however you like) for the day. You just log your food and exercise, and it keeps track of your calories for the day. The best part is you can set it up to look at nutrition facts and see your percentages for the day and the week. PERFECT!You can search for foods in the database or add your own, the same with exercises. It's cool to see all the pretty fruit and veggie icons as your list of food for the day. Plus, I love when I run 5 miles and see the calories left for the day that I can eat increase!! So just the simple act of logging my stuff makes me more conscious and therefore more motivated. It really is true, the the act of observation affects what's being observed...The database for nutrition facts comes from "eshadata". However, since you can enter your own amounts if you use nutridiary or some other database, you can be as precise as you want.I haven't used nutridiary, so I don't know how it compares. But I like how I can just pull out my iPod wherever I am and keep track. Plus there's a great graph plotted as you lose weight. GREAT feedback! My friend (SAD) turned me on to it, he lost 20lbs. I've lost 1 but I've only been using it 5 days, and I really don't have much to lose. The cool part is I got the app in March and logged my weight, but just now started actually using it. So the chart showed a significant weight loss (for me) and that was exciting.Even if you're not trying to lose weight, it's a great way to track your percentages...Of course a pen and paper works too...this is just more fun..Vicky
