Hi ❤ I am new to this community and very exited to be here. I am a spiritual, 34 year old female from Norway and have been vegan and raw till 4 since 2015. I have had a dream about building a fruit paradise for many years. I have been traveling around looking for a place, and there has been bumps along the way. I would like to check out Nicaragua for a potential spot, but it would be so nice to create this place together with someone like-minded. The main plan is to buy some land, not to far from the ocean for surfing possibilities. Growing food, offgrid, have a river close by for water and cleaning would be awesome. Then in the future when we have enough food to share, welcome people who are sick and want to get well. Donationbased. Also maybe host retreats of different kinds. Tell Toy Jungle: Live Animals Aren't Toys

Toy Jungle/Toy Box, a toy store in Vancouver, is selling the Ecoquarium, a tiny 4-inch-by-4-inch plastic cube in which two frogs are meant to spend their entire lives. (You can see a photo of one here.) A LBC member visiting the store informed us that the frogs were extremely cramped and that they were constantly crashing against the walls of their small tanks. These Ecoquariums are produced by Wild Creations, a company which has been investigated by PETA. An undercover investigation revealed:

"...unsanitary living conditions, starvation, and gross mishandling of frogs at the company's warehouse. Frogs were left to languish in stagnant water that was murky with feces and molted skin. Many frogs were so desperate for food that they chewed on each other's legs, causing wounds, infections, and, eventually, loss of limbs. Live frogs were left on the floor to die or—mistaken for dead—tossed aside, including into the trash, by employees who had received no training." (video)

Please contact Toy Jungle and politely tell them that you will not be shopping at their store until they stop selling Ecoquariums, and that you will be asking your friends and family to boycott as well.
