Hi guys!

I really need some advice, I've been vegetarian for 18 years now, and I was almost always constipated on that lifestyle, but over the past 8 months I've been trying to go Rawtill4. Each time it starts off really well. I'm eating 2 smoothies a day (usually mango/berry/pineapple and banana or spinach, kiwi and banana) or overnight oats when I'm working 7am-9pm, sometimes I snack on dehydrated fruits (mango and papaya) or fresh fruit and then a pasta, potato or rice homemade evening meal.
I see almost instantly an improvement in my mood, energy, motivation etc. Then all of a sudden I get horrible stomach ache, bad gas, occasionally sulphur burps and diarrhea, making it impossible to do sport, because I can barely walk with the pain. Has anybody else experienced this? Is it a form of detoxing and inevitable or are there steps that I can take to avoid this and make the change-over finally stick this time?

Thanks for you help!

Typically I get 3-4 hours of sleep, punctuated by little naps whenever I can fit them in.

When you're on a lifestyle like this, how do you guys cope with your depleted energy and still stay fit without falling off the wagon? It's especially hard around 1-3am when the midnight munchies kick in (I usually have a banana, hot tea, or several glasses of water to tide me over).

But the thing is that I live with my family and it's been pretty problematic. (I'm still not an adult) They're constantly saying me that what I am doing is ridiculous and not normal. Whenever they ask what am I going to have for lunch and I respond "I'm going to have fruit" they make me faces. I REALLY FEEL BAD AND GUILTY AND IT'S ACTUALLY NOT A THING TO BE GUILTY ABOUT. I've shown them all the things that I know and the benefits that a high fruit diet can do to your body. Even heavy pain and flows of menstruation have disappeared! I can't seem to explain this! They're just saying "Oh so you found another trend. Now you're not only vegan but you are an almost raw vegan." And what I say to that is that I've known raw veganism for such a long time I just didn't have the courage to do it because of this reason, so I wouldn't be said things like this for not having cooked food at the table. What should I do? Can you guys feel me? And also do oranges lower body defenses because of the content of arginine? That's what I've been told.... Huh..... Sigh.....

So I just watched a youtube video (won't mention name), but I really enjoy this persons account and believe they are following a raw food diet, specifically 80/10/10. The video I watched entailed that in order to clear candida and parasites, either a high fat (die off) diet should be used (not recommended by this person) or a high fruit diet (in order to get sugar into cells, rather than just in the bloodstream). They also mentioned that any starch eaten will just cause to worsening and maintenance of candida, and that you could only decide between the two (high fruit or high fat). Please let me know as I want to clear my body of any parasites and candida, I want to do it high carb so if this means I have to eat just raw high fruit, how long should I do this for and when will I be able to reintroduce starches again?

We are both more than okay with this however we are starting to get stretch marks from the weight gain which is the only permanent side effect from being on the diet so far. Its funny though because you would initially think of this as the diet making us put weight on but really it is probably the amount of contraceptives we have both been on or should I say "sex steroids" haha.

I wish there were some good studies on the diet long term. Lets say over a 10 year period comparing over 1000 people doing rawtill4 and another 1000 people doing a standard american/australian diet and who knows maybe another condition where people are just vegan and eat low calories. Unfortunately it costs a LOT to do studies of this type and a LOT of time. This diet just makes sense though, why would nature make it a bad thing to eat unlimited calories???

Anyway I'm most definitely going to continue on and hope the stretch marks don't get too bad but again who cares, they're just stretch marks!!!

I would love to hear of some more success stories of people who gained weight and then lost it like Freelee.

It makes things so much less emotional. I am having a little problem currently... I've been dizzy every day this week. It comes and goes throughout the day. I read on 30BaD about the possible reasons, but none of them seem to apply to me. I've been having more than 2400 calories everyday since I started this diet and over 3000 for the last couple days. My fat and protein is always less than 10%, I haven't been eating any new foods, my fruit is ripe, and I've been having more than 3 liters of water everyday. I even drink a liter of water right when I wake up. I've had 6 liters today and I've felt really thirsty throughout the day. Am I dehydrated from not having salt? Is that even a thing?

I have been working out everyday regardless of my dizzy, lightheadedness. I've been eating raw or rawtill4 for about 3 weeks now. Would this be considered detox? I haven't felt this the 1st 2 weeks. Does anyone have any ideas what the cause could be? Anything I could fix?

Thanks in advance!

Dawn<3

And it repeats and repeats and I feel like a shit!!!!

Is this a normal thing? I remember times when I wasn't always thinking about food and eating- now thats all I think about?? What is going on!!!

(Backstory: I'm about 5'7, and currently weigh about 136 pounds (fluctuates often). This time last year I weighed approx. 145 lbs. I became a vegan, started running and hiking regularly, lost a lil bit of weight, (140lbs now?) Then this summer I went traveling for 6 weeks and walked everywhere around Europe and lost about 15-18 lbs(?im not really sure how many hehe?)- so when I got back home I weighed 122lbs. i felt absolutely fantastic and happy with my body- my friends and family were comenting on how good and healthy i looked- I was super happy. Then I was so happy that I was back in the land of normal food, I suppose I decided to eat all of it all the time. So yes I gained back the weight. @!#*$%t^. I dont really care about BMI or whatever, I just want to feel light and happy and healthy. Which for me was 122lbs. )

(I am second one to the left in the group photo- that one was taken in 2013.)

(The other photo was taken of me during the first couple of weeks of our trip this past summer.)

large.jpg

ok.jpg

Hey guys,

I was eating raw till 4 this summer and managed 2 months before I went back to eating the SAD diet once again, along with smoking, and drinking. I'm happy to say that I'm back to a high carb low fat vegan lifestyle. I'm definitely want to do it right this time around and have no plans of falling off the wagon again!

I've been raw till 4 for about 10 days now and I'm having the worst digestion problems. My stomach hurt so bad last night that I barely made it through my shift as a waitress. I should also mention that I stopped taking the contraceptive pill 2 months ago and my time of the month hasn't come back into full force yet. It definitely felt like terrible PMS cramps, but magnified by 100!

Anyway, if any of you lovely ladies have advice on how to work through this please let me know!

Lauren

Since keeping a HCLF rawtill4 lifestyle, I my breasts have enlarged from a E/F to a G+I have been rt4 since the 1st of November 2014 and most of my body has remained the same size besides my waist and boobs. My weight has stayed the same however my body composition has changed dramatically.I had a G cup for 2 years on a restriction 1200ish calories vegetarian diet then moved to a high protein low carb vegetarian diet still keeping around 1500 calories for 1 year and my boobs shrunk to a DD cup.Since eating 2500+ calories in fruit, veg and starches they have totally ballooned out.I'm curious to know if this is something that happens to a lot of females out there/if anyone has possible explanations as to why this has occurred or if anyone has any other comments. Thanks :)

The girl in the video mentions that after eating nori sheets she would get a headache. I noticed that I eat a lot of veggie sushi rolls and get a headache pretty much every day. I want to know everyone's opinion and if you can help me find out the truth.
