This low fat vegan whipped cream recipe turned out way better than I could have imagined. It fluffed up really nicely and doesn't use coconut cream, it uses aquafaba, which is much lower in fat. I ate it with some raw banana ice cream!

Check out how to make it:

https://therawbuzz.com/raw-recipes-2/fluffy-vegan-aquafaba-whipped-cream-recipe/

How about a yummy fruit popsicle?

Recently I had to undergo a procedure that required me to fast for a day. They allow you to have broth and popsicles. Yum!

So off to the store I went in search of a whole fruit popsicle. Sounds easy, right? Nope! The majority of them have many added ingredients that I didn't want.

I decided to whip some up for myself. So easy and simple. This is one of those recipes that you can't believe you haven't made sooner!

Great for Kids!

This is also a great recipe to make with kids! Have them get involved and pick their favorite fruits. You can use coconut water, fruit juice, coconut milk yogurt or canned coconut milk if you are going for a creamy popsicle. You can throw some veggies or greens in there as well for added nutrition.

Flavor Combinations

Shown above are a couple of my favorite combinations. Pineapple/coconut & Strawberry/Nectarine.

Give them a try. Super sweet and refreshing!

Blend fruit combinations, then pour and freeze in popsicle molds.

Pineapple/Coconut - Fresh pineapple with coconut water.

Strawberry/Nectarine- Fresh strawberries and nectarines make a great combo for a popsicle or smoothie.

Tip: When ready to take popsicles out of molds, run warm water over mold first before releasing.

Blessings,

Hello everyone!

My name is Erin, and I've been vegetarian for most of my life and have been beginning to try the vegan Raw Till 4 lifestyle! I am currently 19, attending college (double major in Communications and French), trying to occasionally run when I have the time and energy. I've been modifying my diet over the past two weeks, succeeding some days and failing the others. I think I'm just now starting to get the hang of consuming the proper amount of carbs (well, probably not optimal, but enough so I don't fall off the wagon and binge!) and keeping myself hydrated, but I need to smash in more fruit while staying on a student budget with little room to store fresh food! So far, I've kept frozen and dried fruit available and bought generic fruit smoothies (Naked Smoothie Juice) but I'd really like to get optimal health benefits and find more ways incorporate fruits during the day and enjoy awesome cooked vegan meals at night that keep me full! Currently, my dinners stuff me until midnight (college student- late hours are the worst, my sleeping schedule is destroyed) and then I do my best to resist temptation and find something that will fill me- I was lucky enough to find cheeseless pizza topped with veggies last night!

Whew! Sorry for the rambling, but I wanted to give a brief description of where I currently am with implementing RT4 in my life. It's been very difficult getting a good start eating vegan while living on campus, but I have finally started to make some progress. I would love to hear how other college vegans find healthy ways to eat and have energy, and other wise fruit eaters to help me with recipes, proper food combining, and how to eat out at restaurants and keep vegan!

Thanks for reading, everyone!

Erin

Ok, been going at high carb vegan for about a year now. Well, off and on (due to break-up which turned into partying, still remained vegan but junkie vegan..now I'm back at square one). And I have experimented with all raw, mostly raw with cooked, and mostly cooked some raw. So far, I have realized my body does NOT like cooked at all. Everything is so much better on all raw. I was able to do cooked for a while, but once I experimented and went all raw, my body wasn't havin' it. So now I must obey!

Anyway, so I'm going all raw (used to be harder for me as I was pretty addicted to high salt cooked meals) and my budget is feeling a little tight due to this. So, rather than resorting to cooked food (which would be ok but I want to feel my BEST), I'm going to try eating bananas as my staple. The problem? I've never really liked bananas THAT much. I'll eat 'em, but I won't really enjoy them. The only way I enjoy them is in smoothies, as ice cream, cut up with other fruit, dipped in something, etc.

So I wanted to get everyone's FAVORITE banana recipes! Stuff that's quick and easy, not too many ingredients, etc. Because I'm about to start buying a ton of them and need to feel like I can enjoy them.

Also, after a year of eating tons of fruit, I still get melon belly with watermelon. After about ten bites...even chewing and eating super slow...my stomach starts cramping and burning. I don't know what that's about! Sometimes it will do that with other super juicy/ripe fruits. But, my solution is to blend the watermelon and strain as much fiber as I can. If I avoid the fiber, no tummy issues. How crazy is that?! Any explanation??

Ok, so THANK YOU for reading this and I hope you guys have some yummy banana recipes for me!!! :)))))

Hey guys! Well, obviously I'm new to the site. I discovered FreeLee's videos on YouTube about a month ago, and have been watching and trying to get started with the HCRV lifestyle.

I'm currently 19 and a sophomore in college. I wasn't truly happy with my health/weight when I began my freshman year, so the "freshman 15" definitely was a fear of mine. I actually ended up losing a bit of weight at the beginning few months of my college career. However, by Christmas, I noticed nothing was fitting well any more. I ended up adding 10 pounds at the end of my 1st year. I vowed to do better the summer between terms....Well, I didn't do well. Now in my second term of my sophomore year, I have since gained about 30 pounds since graduating high school, I'm embarrassed to go out in public, and none of my clothes fit any more. When working with my organization on campus, I can't wear our required uniform anymore, because my pants won't go on anymore, and my shirt is way too tight. I can't take it anymore. I've slowly started incorporating bananas into my everyday diet. Pulling myself off soda is probably going to be the hardest task going forward. My roommate and I have a juicer and a blender in our apartment, so some good fruity recipes are welcome :) I'm currently on spring break, so I'm using this week to increase my water intake and pull off the soda as well as staying away from the fast food.
