Gourmet LFRV salads with pics...


Recipe:
toms (s'dried & or fresh)
1/8-1/4 beetroot
1/2-1 whole grapefruit juiced
1/4 red capsicum (pepper)
basil (thai preferably)
1/2 avocado
1/4 stick of celery (opt)
Blend till desired consistency

Pour over peeled zuchinni's!

Who says lowfat raw isn't creative!

  • Had good results with an experiment tonight! This was a large salad for one.

    Sweet & Spicy Spaghetti Salad

    Sauce:
    2 Roma Tomatoes
    10 Sundried Tomato strips
    1/2 Orange
    1/2 Red Pepper
    12 Cilantro leaves
    4 Basil leaves
    Roasted Red Pepper flakes (as desired)
    Garlic Powder (as desired)

    Salad:
    Bed of Spinach / Thai Basil (mix as desired)
    1 large Zucchini (julienned)
    Green Onion garnish

  • My purple salad:


    - Red cabbage
    - Red onion
    - Pink grapefruit
    - Blueberries
    - Pomegranate
    - Sprinkled with lemon juice

    • yes its yummy! Not a recipe I would recommend daily but a couple of times a week are best... big fruity meals give us optimal results.. You can also add some sundried capsicum to this, it really adds a 'pizza-ish' flavour..
