I just moved to Redondo Beach, in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. The easy to find gardens are not available, or have a long waiting list. Any one have suggestions? I am phenomenal with super organic soil developement and am a beekeeper, which will triple the garden yield over my superabundance. I just want a small garden to play with, not for sustainability...I will persue trying to find an older person who cannot keep up with their garden, or even to (help) organize one. I will ask organic vendors at the Farmers Market in Torrance, which is an exceptional one for organics. But hopefully will be easier than all that...

Glad you're making the decision to grow some food!
I wish EVERYONE would do the same. I have a couple of topics on gardening indoors, small spaces, and for apartment dwellers @ Three Ways to Grow Food & Other Plants for Apartment Dwellers (...
and I have a couple of videos with lots of information at this post Gardener's Work-out & Diet (Lose weight by gardening)
