I just uploaded a video to my profile and it's been about 10 min and it reads "your video is being converted". I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I've done something wrong.

It normally takes 1-3 days for videos to be approved. There is a way to put them directly on your profile but I don't know how to do that. If that is what you're trying to do, you might ask fellow PK, Jon Fergus.
