I am allergic to latex, latex proteins are also found in lactiferous plants or trees.
Latex is a plant defense mechanism & with me being allergic to natural rubber latex from trees this also means I run the risk of having cross-allergic reactions to other plant's that carry these proteins.
This is the worst news a vegan can ever here - "You are allergic to certain fruits and maybe even some vegetables and if you eat too many you run the risk of anaphylaxis a severe life threatening allergic reaction"
:(
I have an allergy test scheduled about a month away, this way I can find out what I am truly allergic to and at what level.
Until then I have to limit my fruit use :(
I know for sure if I eat more than just one measly banana a day I start to get sick, I had myself up to three bananas a day but I started getting sores in my mouth, runny sneezy nose, chest congestion, stomach cramps, sore throat, and the scariest symptom CHEST PAINS!
Two and half years ago I started juicing and noticed chest pains and cramps after drinking juice with red apples and carrots I was pregnant and thought it was due to being pregnant...
A year ago I started upping my banana intake from one banana a day to three or more...
Also I've been sleeping in a room with a closet full of latex masks...
I had type 2 latex allergy (the non-life threatening) now I am waiting for the blood test to confirm that I now have type 1 latex allergy (life-threatening)
The reason I know that my allergy has evolved into type 1 is because I now have allergy symptoms from breathing latex proteins in the air! My allergy has gone air born.
(like breathing in those masks for a year, the last few months before I found the box I'd wake up with my eye's crusted together and not breathing the last week of me not knowing I'd wake up with my chest closing up I couldn't breathe, I took the box out almost passed out from doing that & was still getting sick dug around the closet again and found just one mask in there still making me ill)
Took it and now I can sleep fine! :)
I take oral b-12 spray every day as well as supplements I was not experiencing b-12 deficiency symptoms...
I can confirm that I have cross allergic reactions with
Bananas
Red Apples
Tomatoes
White Potatoes
Raw Carrots
Kiwi
Has anyone ever heard of this or have any suggestions on what fruits I can eat?

A quick search showed these results for foods latex Cross-reactive. My guess is you'd want to start with the low-undetermined group. You can look at out lists here for any of the foods mentioned that may not be highly recommended. I doubt this list is exhaustive, these are just the foods that the people had data on from the studies. This is the page I grabbed this (below) subset of their list from:
http://latexallergyresources.org/latex-cross-reactive-foods-fact-sheet
High (4)
Avocado, Banana, Chestnut, Kiwi
Moderate (7)
Apple, Carrot, Celery. Melons, Papaya, Potato, Tomato
Low/undetermined (25)
Apricot, Cherry, Citrus fruits, Fig, Grape, Lychee, Mango, Nectarine, Passion fruit, Peach, Pear, Persimmon, Pineapple, Strawberry, Coconut, Hazelnut, Walnut, Castor bean, Chick pea, Soybean, Dill, Oregano, Sage, Peppers (Cayenne, Sweet/bell pepper), Sunflower seed
Yep. I have a sensitivity to latex, not life threatening though. I cannot eat pineapples without breaking out. I cannot eat greenish bananas but do ok if very ripe, ie yellow with brown spots.
I am ok eating apples as a snack, and tomatoes.
I cannot eat many potatoes or carrots.
Another thing you might be sensitive too is oxalate acid which I wrote more about here:
http://www.30bananasaday.com/profiles/blogs/oxalates
Like any diet, there are good foods and bad foods, like animal products being high in cholesterol, vegan and some plant foods have toxins and antinutrients too like oxalate acid and phytates for example. I like to remind people that holly berries are low fat raw vegan, but not good for us and can poison us up to and including death.
Keep experimenting. May be keep a journal and find out what foods work for you and which do not. I am not sure where you live, but in USA, and in some cities with ethnic neighborhoods and stores, there may be more than 200 varieties of raw and plant based foods one can enjoy.
I am not sure if you are raw or RT4, but the following has helped many people with long term success:

This chart might help you find good plant foods with less sensitivities too...

Man...how bad does that suck?? I feel so sorry for you :'( I cannot even imagine! I hope Nicolas is right and in time the allergy will magically disappear....ahhh boy, I got nothin'...sorry :'( I hope someone knows lots about this issue and can help you!
It sucks a lot! I can't wait to go to the allergist!
I've been eating this way for over 3 years and now the allergic re-actions are getting worse! I didn't realize the symptoms as allergic re-actions before I just thought it was normal. I have found that I can't eat fruits in high volume any more with out getting sick. I have to juice less fruits and vegetables and drink smaller smoothies I guess until I figure out exactly what fruits are making me sick!
