There is a music festival in Crestone, Co this week.
I mentioned this town in my group In Search of Inlightenment- but thought
more people would see this under general- but there is so much more going on
there than just spirituality.. they even mention raw in their website!
There are eco-developments and the local meditation center says they will
accommodate raw visitors as long as they are given enough notice."The food
served at the Ashram is all organic, vegetarian, and a raw diet is also possible
if one desires. The accommodations vary with the time of the year from a private
room in the beautiful straw-bale adobe dorm to shared space with other
residents, perhaps even on the floor in the yurt."
Here is a general video on the town below.

Here is a quote from their website that really spoke to me and what my ultimate goals are. "Although Shri Babaji appeared in the Indian culture and is usually worshipped through Indian rituals, he has not been attached to any existing religion. He stated that all religions lead the sincere devotee to God. At Haidakhan, Shri Babaji is loved by Hindus, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, even atheists find comfort here . He often reminded his followers that all mankind is one family, the family of God. For those who ask about religion, he said "Follow the religion that is in your heart."
Even before his reappearance in 1970, Babaji taught Mahendra Baba to preach that all lovers of God should lead lives based on truth, simplicity, and love. It is very difficult to nurture hatred, greed, anger, lust, jealousy and selfishness when a person strives to live in truth, simplicity and love with all. He said over and over again that Karma yoga - work dedicated to God is the best, easiest, and fastest way to God in this chaotic, confused era.
Karma Yoga is the path of action, connecting every action in your life to God, and God can be felt through and with your actions."
I also really like the idea of Karma Yoga because it is like a commitment of everyone to pull their own weight and attracts people who want to work together in harmony. Compared to some of the other centers there it appears that Haidakhan is the most visited with 7,000 people stopping by each year. They are also the most well put together because of the greenhouse, gardens, eco-buildings, etc. All of the love there has manifested an unassumingly beautiful place on so many levels...
