I know their all ate SAD high fat diet. Study participants were normal weight, and then their doubled their normal calorie intake for 4 weeks. All gained weight some less some more. A guy who gained least amount of weight increased his BMR by 30%.
Also what is interesting that after returning to their normal calorie intake their lost their excess weight and returned to their normal weight.
