Jackfruit

I am not a fan! I tried jackfruit at the Fresh Food Festival, so there is no issue with ripeness or quality, but to me the fruit tastes oniony. What do you all think?

    I didn't care for it much the 1st time but like it better now, but still can only eat some before it gets toooo sweet to eat more. My dd can eat tons of it though. It's expensive here $4/lb so it's just an occasional treat for now, not a whole meal.

      I tried several pieces and noticed that it wasn't for me... The taste reminds me of sweet mixed with onion - kind of like a durian gone bad...
