Each time I find myself working for some company, there is a time when I just wanna run away in a jungle, and leave it all behind.
It starts with the ones on the top, who we basically work for. The whole system is designed, so that you spend most of your time in the job that you don´t like, so you have to distract yourself afterwards with different distractions like buying meaningless shit to impress people who are lost as well.
Also the system is designed so we are scared of each other. You are scared of the one above you, because he can report you to the boss. The boss is scared of his bpss and that boss is scared of the boss above him. Perfect system for slavery.
To be able to go through the day you need coffee and then people are so exhausted, all they think of is laying on the couch in front of the TV.
Forget about healthy eating and lifestyle. Bonus for medical companies.
I call it New age Human slavery. And it´s going on now for a pretty long time. Hours didn´t change much in the last 100 years or so. The workload just switched from hard physical labour to hard mental labor on computers in the office.
The worse is the older generation, they don´t wanna change nothing. That´s the main reasons why we are not moving anywhere with this.
People are too scared to rebel. Especailly those with families. They can´t just leave their jobs and expect money is gonna come from somewhere. They really got us by the balls.
But that doesn´t mean that young generation should just accept this non-sense. In 1 week I am out of this meaningless corporate job. I would seriously rather live in a jungle as I see no point in contributing to medical companies or any other big companies.
What is all that money good for at the end. You work 40 hours a week and are left with 36 hours of daylight, if you count that you sleep for 12 hours and are awake for another 12.
That means you spend more time working than doing what you want. You spend most of the money for accomodation and foods anyway. Then you have something left for bicycle, but what is it for when you have no time to ride it. Plus they give you around 2 weeks of holidays per year to get wasted again.
No thanks, I came to the point where I can´t numb myself anymore. I am leaving to Thailand 9th of March to work as a swimming instructor. I am not putting all my hopes in it like my parents thought me. I am just rebelling and trying out new things.
If you get too comfortable with where you are, it will be really hard to change it. Try to take longer lunch breaks, come to work little bit later and leave sooner, until they fire you. Then do the same in another job.
Otherwise it will stay the same and we will stay the puppets in the hands of the ones who direct all this madness.

You don't have to wish me luck, like i said the ONLY solution for the current human condition is most people knowing, understanding and living natural law, you're in this just as much as i am, wether you remain ignorant and stay part of the problem or do your research is your choice, though people like me and mark passio could try to get you to that point, cause that is what the great work is.
But there's a reason it's 8-9 hours or so and not just 1 minute, if you're looking for a 1 minute thing then you will never learn anything.
I can add some slides here if it makes you feel better, but i really shouldn't.

Yeah, I'm watching the talk. 1 hour in and the new things I have learned are the origins of words. He sure talks a lot without saying much. What, you think I'm against these concepts? Hell no, I'm with you and him 100%.
But guy mentioned my point. My point is, who's going to put in the effort and time to listen and understand these long-ass obscure videos, on a mass scale? Instant gratification is what society is. THAT should be leveraged to our advantage, not disadvantage.
And the basic income? It is pathway that leads somewhere. You need a road to get to a destination. It's good and all to talk about the destination, but if nobody builds a road, nobody will get there! Few people will take the treacherous journey.
There's more ways of communicating the truth then watching those video's. Think of the most efficient tactics of spreading this, but when you propagate for a violent solution you're doing to exact opposite of this..
the instant grattification thing cannot be leveraged to our advantage, you're talking about manipulating people to get your way of violence (government) not educating them about the truth.
basic income is a pathway that leads to different/more problems, again it's an idea created out of ignorance of the causal factors of the symptoms/perceived problems, it comes out of the mind of someone stuck in the realm of effect, this natural law thing is not talking about the destination, it is the pathway to it and beyond.
But keep on watching you might possibly get what i try to say.

pragmatism is nonsense, violent "solutions" will never work, it's intellectual sloth and typically results in unintended, perverse consequences. not to mention it is slavery, you say everything in that presentation is obvious stuff for everyone here, i assume including yourself, yet how can you possibly stand behind the basic income idea, if you understand all that and it's so obvious, the only reason we're in this mess the world is in is because most people don't understand this information, which should be common knowledge/sense.
@William McClellan, maybe i will, but in the end they still have to watch the video's to get a more clear understanding or read a shitload of text (a book, for example there's a book coming probably in the summer from this guy).
You have to be willing to spend the time and pay the attention to get real mon eye.
Most boring talk ever. Obvious stuff for people in this thread. Very little of anything new for somebody who has thought about things like this to any decent extent. Again, he talks a lot without really making a good point about anything. No wonder it's hard to summarize hours and hours of babble. WHAT IS THE CENTRAL POINT he's making? That if people actually thought about stuff, the world would be better? No shit.

yes I live minimalistic lifestyle, but even for that you need money for food and accomodation. Maybe starting permaculture in Thailand would be awesome idea.
