Yes! I think high calories increase phlegm (for me) whether its fruit or anything. Runny nose from detox too, but for me its constant! But its so deep in there, my nose can only drip so much.
I found that doing high intensity on the treadmill with a pack of kleenex is helpful. I may get glares at the gym but im hygienic about it (haha!) stuffing dirty ones in my pocket, sanitizer, etc. More pleghm and snot can come up I didn't know was there. I may even develop a constant runny nose after 3 HIIT times in a week. Then I stop running for a week after that or until my sinuses are clear. And believe me, you feel the difference! If you're already exercising a lot maybe that break would help.
