Saw this piece on TV- a cow escaped from a halal market in Queens. They showed footage of the cow and I thought that, maybe since it made the news and ran away they would send it to a sanctuary or something. Nope, last thing they said in the report- the cow is scheduled to be slaughtered on Friday.There is no real point to this post, just wondering if anyone else thinks it's messed up how nonchalant people talk about slaughter/murder.Here is the online version of the news http://abcnews.go.com/US/runaway-cow-escapes-slaughterhouse-york-city/story?id=36427563
