I wish I didn't have to supplement and I would love to have been able to wait to get a test to verify if I had a deficiency before I started supplementing but due to some reasons I wont go into here it became urgent that I try it and see if it would help. I was trying to wait until I could get blood work in the beginning of September but again I had to urgently do something and so far it seems to have helped somewhat. So I began looking into b12 supplements and I ended up getting a vegan b12 Methylcobalamin spray. I began supplementing a week ago, and I spray it under my tongue, it is from pure vegan and here is the link:
I don't know which type is better sublingual or injections. I kind of think I would rather do injections but I did this because I had already bought them and had them in my house because I was going to start supplementing before but decided to wait till after my blood work so I tried to wait and again I felt I had to start it.
But honestly I would rather do the injections and I might switch to the injections only because the ones from trim nutrition has only one yucky ingredient while the supplements have a couple not so great ingredients. However after looking into the different vegan options for b12 sublingual supplements I chose this one because it had the fewest ingredients.
I've looked around and found B12 shots to be rather expensive here in the states. I decided to go with these Jarrow Formulas Methylcobalamin, 5000mcg, 60 count Link: http://amzn.com/B0013OQGO6 . They are vegan and $13.96 with free shipping when subscribed to at Amazon.
I cut those in half and take one every Sunday under my tongue.
I decided to skip the pre supplementing testing and just supplement to play it safe myself.

First off, ensure by blood test what your levels actually are. The first test sets the baseline, from which you can then determine how to proceed.
If you do need a boost, shots are the best, with the ultimate being the Methycobalamine from www.trimnutrition.com
