Hi all,
That search feature should be sorted now. It if still looks jumbled to you it is likely your browser cache, just hit the reload button in your browser or hit [Crtl] +[F5] to reload the page with fresh data.
Update, had word from our resident Google Search Code guru and they will be on it. It may be a day or two, but we should have that sorted soon. Thanks again for the heads up! :)
Yup, I see it with Chrome! Probably the same issue with Safari, I'm going to guess some kind of difference in the way the browsers handle CSS. I'll ping folks and see if they can't address it. In the meantime, if it really makes the site unusable, you could download and install Firefox for the short term anyway or just for doing searches. The new search really does return better results IMO!

i use safari and have had the same problem

1 - Do you mean when you type in a search term, or do you mean in the results that come up?
2 - Which web browser and version are you using?
I tried zooming in and out to see if I could see anything funky with search but not able to. Let me know those 2 answers and I'll see if I can reproduce it and maybe we can change settings to fix it.
the search results that come up, the title and preview overlap and i cant read it. zooming in helps a little.
web browser? i'm using google chrome version 26 i think.
