Young GREEN coconuts, where to find them?

I love, love those young coconuts (the white pyramid ones). I also recently found some organic ones for a very reasonable price, but the store only carries them sporadically. I really want to get some young green coconuts but haven't seen them anywhere. I saw a place online but shipping was nearly a hundred dollars (US). Ridiculous! Anyone in the states see these in stores? My local Asian markets only have the conventional pyramids. FWIW I am in the Pacific NW.

    Probably not gonna help you with your problem...but I go take my wheelbarrow and branch saw to the beach and collect my own...I live in Tropical Far North Queensland, Australia though...I think those white pyramid ones taste yuck but that's prob cos I know what they should taste like :)

      I am both happy for you and envious of you!

      Now I REALLY want to try a green one......I can't imagine them being better than the white ones.
