Newsletters and Ezines - Lets get started! :)

We are really interested in sending a monthly ezine to the "members only group" and possibly 1-2 newsletters a week.

We know controversy is what people like so want to stick with that theme to a certain degree.  I came up with a few topics that could be articles and possibly go on the cover of the Mag...

*  Purity or sanity?
*  100 bananas in one day, can it be done? Meet the man who is up for the challenge (possibly Dave Hestrin)
*  Is 30BaD a cult?
*  10 in 10 with Michael Arnstein (10 question interviews or something?)

Look forward to hearing your ideas :)

    Ok..so we ended up buying a new computer. The motherboard went out on my other one and for just a couple hundred more than it cost to fix the old (which was running sluggish anyway) we went ahead and got a new one.
    It's a very nice system :) Getting all the recording equipment set up and tomorrw we start!

    So..I have my husband on board with me. We have done a few videos in the past and I made him put one up on youtube. This was our very first attmept with "special effects". (we are better now) We even painted out garage walls the proper color so we could do this. We both realize it could be better but this was our first attempt and I would like to share it with all of you...and to let you know that yes..we can do this!..We did this for a contest and it had to be 6 minutes long :) so lots of editing to make it .

    It stars my son with me as the witch and the crazy math teacher. This was about 4 or 5 years ago and he is sooo cute! It's halloweenish...so enjoy!

    Ok...I'll record the script...of course it has to be wrote better...edited..and in tune to what the actual video will be. I cant get started on this until this next monday as we are going out of town on Friday and not back til Sunday. I would go ahead and record something for you to listen too tomorrow but I dont think I will have my equipment up til late and we leave on Friday. But I will see what I can do.

    School starts tomorrow for my kid so have to make sure he is all ready for it and get myself to bed...Got some other ideas that are brewing...and some people that might help with some of this

    I'm really excited about all this!

      Awesome! Sounds grand :-)) Hey what do you think about integrating the 30BaD theme song somewhere? Like a 8 second snippet at the start of vids?

      Hi Freelee,

      I like the banana song and think it would work.

      Now..I am having a problem with my equipment. Have been able to record..but something is wrong with the playback and then it cuts out. Tech support comes today (my husband)...I am thinking I have a bad cable which is an easier fix. BUT...just this morning I got the blue screen of death on my computer...and it looks like I may need to re-format or get a new system.. Fortunately there are two other computers in the house but they are not in the studio (the studio is my cave) but I can borrow one of them if I need.

      I do though have an opportunity to record in another studio this week or next and I want to get going on something here..and it's a great opportunity so......with pro's that know Movie Trailers and promo's.

      I could use some scripts...I have some ideas that I have been working up...but I could use some more ideas...something that you have in mind for a video or an audio. ...or just samples to get the ideas flowing.


      I will do a "In a World of" type "movie trailer" audio like I first stated first...

      I hope my computer recovers soon and I can get my recording studio back on line...by tonight...? Hard to tell with tech support ya know? lol

    Ok, here is an idea I have: How about some "movie trailers" to put up that will tickle the curiosity of people to know more about 811 and/or join the "members only group". You know like Don LaFontaine's "in a world where" movie trailers. I already like the "100 bananas in one day, can it be done?" idea. Kind of like:

    "In a world of hot dogs, french fries, and soda pop (show clip of people eating these) .... one man attempts to eat 100 bananas in one day (Dave Hestrin standing arms folded looking proud..bananas in background)....can it be done? (close up of face and eyebrow raising in response to question) ... Meet the man who is up for the challenge.(background characters saying things like "is he crazy" "no one can do that" "is he a man or a monkey?)....as he attempts to go for radiant health, boundless energy and perfect digestion(background noises..lol).....admidst the meat eaters...can he survive?".....
    Coming soon to 30bad private members area near you.... (spoken quickly with website address rolling on screen)

    Ok, so I'm sure someone else could write the script a little punchier but I think you get the idea...?
