    Go to Total Produce, ask for Phil Magee - he's the banana man and will sort you out. I usually phone in the morning (about 4/5am) before I go to ask if he has cheap boxes (£3-£8 for 18kg) and he will keep some aside. 0151 220 1826

    If you do go, tell him Jennifer (he also knows me as the banana girl!) says hi :)

      I used to use "Total produce" not sure about a website or phone number sorry, I only ever go in person.

      I am getting up an organic fruit and veg service in Wirral, if that would be of any interest to you?

    Is it a market on edge lane - i am not clear exactly on where i am headed for...there are several train stops apparently for edge lane... I have never been there before

    I get organic and fair trade :)

    Not always at £6, sometimes £5, sometimes £8, it depends.

    Tell them it is for personal use and you want loose ones. They are cheaper :)
