I know there is already a readers group, but thought it would be useful on here to recommend books suitable to meditation.I have just finished a beautiful book that I highly recommend to anyone on this path!A 'Path with heart' is written by Jack Kornfield who is a teacher, former budhist monk, clinical psychologist and meditation master. He talks about his personal, practical wisdom, garnered from 25 years of practicing and teaching the path of awakening, and guides self-searchers to a simplicity of perception that brings alive spiritual practice, peace, and truth in their daily lives. He truly brings Eastern wisdom in a practical way to our Western lives. He has incorporated psychotherapy with meditation and although from a buddhist basis, it is not so much about buddhism but about our spitiul lives in general and how to live them with more heart. But it ultimatley returns to the importance of meditation.I found it a very inspiring book and would love to read more from this author! (After the ecstasy the laundry, The art of forgiveness, loving kindness and peace, The wise heart).Has any of you read this book or any others by him?♥ ☮ ♥
