How the yell do you do this! How do you get used to eating this much fruit? I decided Friday to go vegan and raw till 12, with the intention to go raw till 4 once I am used to it. Day one, breakfast was ten bananas and 1.25 liters of water. I drank all but 1/4 of it over a three hour period. I'm assuming this was much too slow. I couldn't stomach any more of it. I see that some people add coconut sugar to their smoothies. What are you thoughts on this? Breakfast today was a pint of strawberries and 4 bananas shared with my kids, roughly 1000 calories. For lunches and dinners, it was either brown or jasmine rice with earth balance butter, gluten free corn pasta with vegan sauce, and a vegan pizza this evening.
I have spent roughly $110 for the next 4 days of meals. I am trying to make this financially sustainable, but this is difficult. I was spending $50 per week per person. I keep telling myself that my body is not a discount body. I don't know how long I can keep this up.

As far as keeping it costly- fruit will be your biggest expense. I buy fruit from my local wholesale clubs and farmers markets. Supplement with frozen fruit to save $. If your doing raw till 4 rice, beans, potatoes are the cheapest foods to purchase so that shouldn't hit your wallet you should actually save money if you were buying processed foods snd meats before.
My typical day is a fruit breakfast - bananas, berries, kiwi with almond milk and buckwheat groats on top. Lunch- big salad lots of greens or greens with bananas or citrus Dinner- veggies and more fruit
I snack on fruit in between when hungry or have a smoothie. Sorry this was so long! Hope it helped. Good luck to you! You'll find your groove on what works for you. Everyone is different!
Blessings Kimberly
