I'm hoping to go from Barcelona-area and head east towards Greece, ideally leaving early july and would love to have a cycling buddy even for part of the way as its my 1st long distance bike trip.

Alright mate. I would've been very keen to jump on board if not already occupied. I did a trip from the centre of France to Barcelona last year which was epic and it would've been cool to set off from where I finished. Let me know if you want to do one next Summer.
