hey everyone,
so just to give you all some background, i was anorexic for 5 months about 3 years ago and have had some type of an eating disorder since. on cronomete it says i need 1500 calories and obviously following this lifestyle you need more than that. i eat between 2500-3000 calories a day and thats really when i feel my best. i really like rice as that also makes me feel my best and i like being a HCLF cooked vegan. but this just isn't seem to working for weight loss. I hear so many other people losing weight doing this, i walk an average of 5 miles a day plus 40 mins of yoga everyday. so I'm not necessarily sedentary but i just don't know what else do. I'd really like some input on this seeing as so many other people on this website also get a lot of feedback things. thanks!!

Hi Alex,
I have been on this lifestyle for over six months now. I am no longer gaining weight, but I am not losing, either.
When I get discouraged about weight loss, I remind myself that I am doing this lifestyle for the inner health and vitality it brings. I will be so happy to lose the extra weight some day, but until then, this part of the journey is about fortifying your inner self. Focusing on your relationships, what you're passionate about, what you want to do with your life, and how you want to contribute to this world.
The world needs you at your best--thin or carrying extra weight--it doesn't matter at all. The world wants you to be carbed up, energetic, and happy.
Think how great it will be to post a before and after pick in a year or two. You'll be so proud that you gave this gift to yourself!
Keep eating lots of carbs--just go for it! You're doing everything right already--be kind to yourself! <3
