I did some videos the other day because I saw there were over 13 in the queue! Yeow!

I saw this was approved:

http://www.30bananasaday.com/video/glamorous-aging-no-competition

Is this really 30BAD material? I don't ask to challenge (whoever approved it) but because I deleted two of her other videos containing sort of rambling, "out there" (in my opinion) stuff that I just didn't feel were helpful but maybe I'm wrong and maybe I shouldn't have deleted them.

I think this is a neat lady, and personally I cheer her on, I like that she seems to be coming into her power and really feeling great on an 80/10/10 diet!

However, I think talk of the devil and fat hairy men molesting young children just is a bit too "out there" for me, in the context of 30BAD.

Not that I disagree with her, but the reference in the video, in my opinion, is far too shallow, it's too "sound bite". If someone is going to talk about molestation, it needs to be done with great care, understanding and discernment, not just tossed in as an aside to pandering to a youth culture. That cheapens it to a boogeyman/campfire sort of thing in my mind. Same thing for religious references. I am actually for them, but that being said, they cannot just be tossed in as "preaching to the choir" type of statements. That has the potential to rub people the wrong way and give a really shallow, unbalanaced view of religion in general.

I get the feeling that Karen uses "strong statements" to sort of shock and shake people, to get them to pay attention. I find it over-emotional and in danger of being counter productive, but that's just my opinion.

Anyway, I wanted to touch base with you to let you know about the other 2 videos I deleted in case I was in error. Also, I tossed some of Keela Sanders' videos. She seems really neat and I like her videos, but the ones I deleted seem a lot more suited to a high fat raw vegan site, or one where they approve honey and salt, etc.

I actually wrote a note to Keela, I didn't send it to her, too long for a friend invite, but saved it in case she questions why some of those were deleted.

I thought about writing a similar note for Karen, but decided it would just be a bit too much for me at the moment. I'm in the middle of a lot of stuff here on the farm and at work. But if her feelings are hurt, I'll be glad to send her a note.

He has ignored this post and is adamantly arguing against 811. No matter what advise is offered to him, he results back to the fact that he believes we are not living the lifestyle properly.

I'm not exactly sure as to what he is trying to prove, but there has been many informational posts regarding what we recommend here on 30BaD. Not only this, but he seems set on discrediting Freelee.

Ex.

"(Specifically Freelee's comment on this post, "Only eat them if you desire them otherwise just focus on getting sufficient amounts of sweet juicy fruits for a start. I notice the peeps who tell us to strongly focus on greens (over fruit) are almost always eating cooked food."

This is interesting to me. What diet is she promoting here? Cooked food? Greens? No greens?

Anyhow, I think charging someone $600 or something for a consultation over a month period on a site that represents 80/10/10 and isn't even doing the diet herself is a little odd to me. Not to mention, I have no idea what her qualifications are to consult anyone."

I offered a screenshot of my daily consumption of food from yesterday, and he seems to believe that this furthers his point that he cannot get adequate nutrients eating this way unless he consumes in excess of 8000 calories.

I'm not sure whether Freelee has access to the internet at the moment, but I can imagine she won't appreciate all of the (uncalled for) negative comments regarding her lifestyle.

Hey fellow PKs,

Today after a while of procrastination, I decided to look at videos again. I am not sure what the current situation on these two videos is, but here is what I think:

Old Emotions Cooked Food Posted by Sarah Me

I am undecided on this one. The video itself was difficult to hear on my computer. It seems it was filmed in a car, and so the sound quality is not that great.

I understand the person's struggle with cooked food, but at the same time he kept repeating it over and over cooked food and Wendy's almost to the point of redundancy.

The video is only 2 plus minutes, so if one of you does not mind, watch it and decide if it should stay or go. I am borderline on letting it go more impart do to the sound quality, but would not protest if someone wants to approve it.

**********************************************************

Stop Abuse from Others today Posted by owen fox

This was a long one that I actually decided to listen to while doing some chores. I am grateful that I have a portable laptop and wireless internet!

This was also one of those feel good psychobabble almost hippie type of videos that really does not have much to do with lfrv. But then again, there are people on this site that love to "feel".

However, I think I will approve this video just for goodness sake unless some one has a reason not to or to retract.

What I would also like to do is send a PM to owen in this regards: (We have not connected as friends yet, so if anyone is his friend and would not mind)

He can join and promote groups such as the feelers and non violent communication and perhaps put his interests and skills to work in these areas. He can discuss, blog, and imbed his videos in these areas.

He can also be encouraged to participate in the forum discussions of:

Raw Inspiration & High vibrations!

The reason I am recommending this is that I have seen owen refer to some of this psychobabble in discussions that really have nothing to do with psychobabble at all. He likes touchy feely psychobabble and seems to be proud of his abilities to do so, I would just like to channel those abilities in a positive and relevant sense and with people who would have an appreciation for these things.

Peace, PK

This guy could start a religious war all by himself. I'd like to see his comment here deleted and he needs a good warning about showing disrespect towards other members here.

"The Christian sect represents the religion of the grain people. The story of Cain and Abel is the story of the grain farmer killing the gatherer. From then on the grain people with their religion as their weapon went on a rampage around the planet that knows no equal. Your belief in this religion shows that you have no understanding of what peace or what your religion means. Your religion killed millions of my brothers and sisters in the past and to this very day. Your religion of hate is killing this planet as we speak, destroying my wider family on land, the air and the oceans.

You all have been abused as a child and you probably abuse your children by teaching them your false beliefs as well. I beg you to stop. Enough is enough.

If you are offended by this so be it, the offense (your) religion has done is well beyond any sane person's belief. It is about time that the people oppressed by your and other religions speak out against it with an ever louder voice because you are obviously near deaf and blind. They need to speak out for themselves and those who have no voice to raise against these delusions called religion and the violence that it displays.

You may keep your internal fighting about who said what about meat in your fairy tale book for yourself.

For the record: atheism is not a religion. We are all atheists but I may have one more god than you that I do not belief in."

http://www.30bananasaday.com/group/healingcolitiscrohnsdisease?commentId=2684079%3AComment%3A774356

This group is a mess imo. The recommendations in numerous comments are not in line with 30BAD. I was going to refer someone suffering from Colitis and Crohn's here and did a search and found this. I think this whole group needs to go, I wouldn't want anyone to read what is shared there other than a couple of helpful posts by Jacob and Mikey, it is a mish mash of confusion, not an example of how you can heal crohn's on lfrv. I would say send an explanation as to why it's going to be deleted to all 11 members and then delete it or send a message to the group to please delete all of their comments that are not within guidelines. Addressing each comment would be time consuming and not worthwhile imo. Are there other groups here veering away like this? I wonder.

I'd like to get other's opinions on it.

A few examples:

"I would also like to point out that many studies have shown that too much fruit, with its high sugar content increase the rate of oxidation and aging in the body."

"Another problem with Crohns is that many people simply cannot consume the quantity of raw food needed for health - it's not a case of trying to increase the amount over time - it simply isn't possibe to eat large quantity of any food."

" I would have used raw honey to get my nutrition as this is as close the perfect food when you cannot tolerate fiber. It fulfills the raw lifestyle, gives us the preferred energy source of the body, carbohydrates in monosugars which are immedaietly absorbed as fruits and raw honey are the only natural sources of monosugars.."

"your family digestive issues look like parasite infestations, shared within the household - I would serioulsy look at natural elimination - Candida , then doing herbal Clove , Black Walnut, Wormwood combo, for family AFTER all household pets have had a complete parasite cleanse."

"I've also had good luck with fermented veggies and coconut water kefir"
