Calgary Wholesalers

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if there was anyone from the Calgary area that knows of any good wholesalers in the city or area that sell to the public? I thought there was a discussion on this awhile ago but I can't seem to find it, any suggestions?

Hey there, I know this is bit old but I'm getting produce from Krown. The prices are good but I can only get organic sometimes. I am looking into getting wholesale accounts with the local greenhouses. If anyone is looking to split cases or or connect please contact me in Calgary, Alberta.

I work at community and know that we will special order anything, and if you get a case we offer a 10% discount. It can still be pretty expensive. But I go 46lbs of bananas today for $46.00 before my personal discount.

There is H&W produce in Edmonton. I believe they send wholesale to Calgary as well. Check them out online, prices are a bit cheaper, not sure how delivery would effect price.

When I lived there I was 801010 for 3 years I couldn't find any at all, but I would suggest asking the produce managers at Community and Planet Organic, and also Amaranth Foods (in Arbor Lake) where they get their wholesale produce from. They're very friendly. Otherwise the cheapest I've found for fruit is Superstores. Hope that helps.
