Good to see there's others who have not only freed themselves from cooking but also from capitalism (or at least aspire to both). If I can be defined at the moment it's as an internet musician (<a href="http://www.phoeniximago.com/music">http://www.phoeniximago.com/music</a>). I'm really hoping to make a go of this because when I write song I can be honest and calm in a way I cannot in other situations. I value both qualities in myself and others.<br /><br style="font-weight:bold;" /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Point for discussion:</span> In order to be free from capitalism/consumerism/dependence on oppressive organisations do we actually have to embrace them and master them? What I mean is it's all very well being penniless and proud but it can seriously limit your potential to effect change and be free. Surely a better solution would be to understand how to make insane amounts of money then channel it to good effect.
