I am a newly transitioned vegan, and am trying to go fully RAW. its been abut 2 weeks now, and I switched up my skin care to either oatmeal or just water for 'cleansing', this was just in the past couple days, and out of no where my skin has started breaking out in places it never did, and i'm guessing this is because it's going through a detox? i have permanent, indented scars from hurting my skin in the past, and i also have combo skin and the oily parts are looking... extra oily. i tried using some coconut oil cause I've read its really good as a moisturizer, but it makes my oily skin look like a mirror :( any help or recommendations for combo skin and reducing oil would be greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch!

OO and how could i forget...avocodo facial masks are amaaaazing!! just mash up some avocado and put it on your skin and leave it on for a while.
Thanks for the advice! After reading this I did an oatmeal mask. Still wearing it! :) and i have witch hazel but it has some alcohol in it, that's bad right? And I'll snag an avocado today at the store! :) Does it get rid of acne? The avocado and the witch hazel?
I hope u like it! :) haha...and a little alcohol isnt bad...but the pure form of it is better. I'm wearing an avocado mask now! It's wonderful!...Yea it will get rid of acne, at least in my case it did...and it makes your skin SUPER smooth after one use...but after several uses it'll feel extrememly soft and like a baby's butt haha
Hello,
What really works is using an oatmeal mask and leaving it on for the night and even use it fresh in the morning. Then witch hazel as a toner and argan oil (the pure cosmetic form of it) as a moisturizer. It's amazing stuff! And your skin won't even look like you put oil on it after so you can go out in public straight afterwards. Oh, and you don't need to use witch hazel everyday either, just when u feel u need to tone up your skin a bit
If you take hot showers daily I recommend stopping as it causes damage to hair and skin. Room temperature or cooler water will help your skin to retain it natural oils therefore not creating more. Coconut oil is good for hair but not great on skin, jojoba, argon or almond oil is probably best. 2-3 drops should be more than enough for your face
Hope that helps
Thanks a bunch Alan! I don't take showers every day, was every other now like every 3. And thanks I'll definitely look into the oils! :)
Thanks for the tip! i have heard that dead sea mud is really good for your skin, though sadly i've had trouble finding it in my area :(
