Hi, I also have body dysmorphia and at times it can be really bad but I have found the higher intake I have of fruit and cooked carbs (still mostly fruit), it's almost as if my dysmorphia goes away and I feel really happy and content with my body instead of shameful, especially if I also stick to 5-6% fat and make sure I'm getting enough tryptophan; an essential amino-acid found in bananas, medjool dates, mangoes, rice and sweet potatoes). It converts to serotonin in the brain and serotonin production has been found to be low in the brains of Body Dysmorhia sufferers. This lifestyle really has helped me and saved me and I hope it helps you too x
