What a beautiful day.  I'm so thankful my kids were able to enjoy the outdoors for hours today.  For unschooling we read an online article about the Curiosity on Mars and watched a video about its engineers having to live on Mars time.  Then we checked in on Voyager 1 which is ready to leave our galaxy.  We checked out some new astronomy software.  We did some practice reading and came across a new word, draconian and delved into researching Dracon.  My daughter found a new (to us) dragonfly larva and got digital pictures of it.  My son whipped me at cribbage and my other son calculated how many seconds old each family member is -mine is in the billions :(

The kids slept as late as they wanted, had plenty of imaginative play, loads of fun exercise, frolicked in our organic garden gathering lunch food, and hung out together.
