I LOVE running in minimalist shoes and also partake in the occasional run without any shoes altogether depending on conditions.
I've noticed though that many people are suffering injuries whilst running are told to, just run barefoot!...but oddly in shoes, (theirs an oxymoron for you! :P) only to see their injuries persist!
The importance of running form can never be over stated regardless of what type of shoes are being worn, or even not!
I wanted to share a couple of great resources for learning natural running form and see if anyone else had any they also like to share that they found helpful?

yeh, I know the chap who's running this. ~ forgive the pun!
He, (mick) also set up a fb page, (Northumbia barefoot running ~ https://www.facebook.com/NorthumbriaBarefootRunning).
How can I best share about this chap and his teaching style, (he is actually a lecturer at Northumbria Uni)....well, this event is two minutes from my front door, and I’ll not be going!
If you do come up for it though, let me know and we can go for a little city to trail/water reserve run :)
Hey James,
This is the video I show to all the cross country/track and field athlete I coach. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSIDRHUWlVo. He just runs so smooth. What are your thoughts?
Run with a smile, :)

I rem seeing this video when first released! - it's good....running barefoot when it's clearly cold out though, is crazy!
:)
the other resource I have found to be great regarding running form is Lee Saxby from vivobarefoot. his videos on yt are particularly clear and simple; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcIvxZJ5eWU
A free ebook about running form from LS is available here: http://trainingclinic.vivobarefoot.com/
the first link I'd like to share is for the pose method of running. This really is a great book and for me was invaluable. It also contains many callisthenic work outs to help strengthen and condition the body specifically for running. It’s a great book!
