I live in Peoria (like Arrowhead Mall-ish) and am looking for outdoorsy veg people who might want to split bulk fruits from Kodiak sometime or hit some hiking trails or attend one of my crazy veg friendly parties (which usually include some wild games of twister and a bowl or two of fresh watermelon punch yummm)
I also regularly host volunteer events, backpacking trips and some hippie dippie get togethers at local parks that involve getting Back to Nature...and I do a mean cartwheel ;) So if you're interested in any of that I'll be sure to let you know what's coming up :)

Hosting another Nature Walk this week, more details will be up soon. Waiting on schedules. This one may be held on Phx Mtn Preserves area.

Next event is actually a Family oriented Nature walk at Rio Vista Park this thursday evening around 630, its aimed at getting parents and chlidren (of all ages!) comfortable with being in nature after dark and understanding rather than fearing what she (mother nature) has to offer. If anyone is interested let me know and i'll send along more details. :)

We seem to be planning another indoor rock climbing event out at Ape Index, 101 & Peoria, no clue WHEN yet but if anyone has any suggestions let us know
I'd like to come too! I don't think I can come on Sep. 29th as my husband has a company picnic that day. But let me know about any future events!
Okay perfect, so the big thing I have planned thus far in September is the National Public Land Clean Up Day, every September 29th I head out with a group of friends to clean up the shorelines and campgrounds etc at Lake Pleasant Regional Park.
Since I work for the county and practically live at the Lake I'm good pals with the ranger there so he's going to hook me up with the fun stuff as usual. (2 years ago my best friend and I got to paint everything,it was great messy fun)

Child & Dog friendly, bring lots of water and some munchies for yourselves or to share.
Starts at 7am sharp (which mean I'll be there by 630am), carpool available first come first serve in my Suby.
Best part is free entry to the park for the entire day :)
