For some reason it is rather difficult for me to build quality chest muscles. I can tighten them up and tonify a bit with wight lifting but im not getting the definition and size that I want. when im on schedual Im lifting heavy weights mixed with light weight low reps, Im eating enough forsure, and im resting a good amount. over time i see a gradual increase, but i feel like there is something i could be doing to be more efficient. Let me know if you guy's have any advice on this subject.
thanks will G.

Yoga! My upper body gets so defined and muscular from Power vinyasa yoga. All the head/handstands, arm balances and vinyasa pushups! Plus its a whole body workout!
What's going on with your lower body? Are you seeing changes in strength across the board? What kind of weekly lifting routine do you currently following?
Try Incline bar or dumbbell press and incline dumbbell fly and finsh off your chest workout with dumbbell pullovers
there is, coming from someone who wanted chest muscle as a kid but never got it
i dont know if you bench with dumbbells or bar bells. Here's what worked for me, I saved my energy that I used to spend doing push ups and doing 10 reps with barbells
I started with a weight (in dumbbells) that I can do about 8 reps max, then the next set I went 5 pounds heavier and did 6 reps, then 5 pounds heavier and did 4 reps, 4th and last set I did the 6 reps again, the key is that each time you go to the gym for chest always ask your self, can I start heavier today? Keep pushing your self and you will see results.
I recently lost my eye in combat, recovered from the surgery and got back in the gym only 2 weeks ago, I'm doing the same thing to build back up and I'm starting at 45 pounds less than my peak days but that's ok,
Hope this works for you, and keep pushing your self to the limit!!
Huge respect for still striving even after such a challenging loss, Jack.
I thank you for your service.
I am healing from a broken collar bone at the moment, but when i recover I will give it a try. I used to incorporate some dumbell press into my routine, ill try this and see how it works for me. thanks for the advice
