This has been my staple lately, especially in between banana ripening stages (2.5 years on this and I still don't have this down pat haha).
DATORADE
• 21 jumbo medjool dates (23g each)
• 1.75L (7 cups) water
• 1 ten-inch stalk celery or 1 banana (keeps from separating)
Blend until smooth.
For different flavor, blend in one of the following:
• 6 oz. frozen mixed berries or
• 6 oz. frozen mango or
• 1 fiji apple and a pinch of cinnamon
*I say frozen because it's better than what you can get fresh this time of year in most places.
*I'm not a big cinnamon person, and it's optional here, but this one is good if you want yet

Trust me, these recipes are clutch.

Mmmm dangermouse. I can totally taste that :-).
I've been having datorade with a couple lemons squeezed in pretty much every day lately. Once in a while I'll blend in 10 or soaked almonds as well. I realise both those combinations are horrible food combining examples, but they taste like lemon pie, so I don't care.
What brand of frozen fruit do you guys like/recommend? Or do you freeze it yourself in the summer?
Costco carries organic frozen fruit... their blueberries are my favorite, but the are all good (peaches, strawberries, cherries, mixed fruit etc.)
You MUST try it with blueberries... WOW!!!
AND you can use coconut water.....Mmmmmm ;)
We shall feast on dateorade the next time i'm in Nanaimo!
