i eat 550 grams of soaked dried dates every day though, cause there's not much (organic) available here.
A dried fruit is just as high in calorie as the non-dried fruit by the way.. it just weighs less cause the water weight is gone.

Because you just shrink the size of the original fruit. Take out the water. I'd recommend them fresh if you can get them that way. :)
