Hey guys!
Got another question on the RT4 style recommended by Freelee and Harley.
I've been binge-watching their channel lately and one thing just isn't clear to me:
Do they wake up - drink water - go for a run / ride on the bike - get home and eat their breakfast smoothie?
That's what it looks like in their videos, all of them.
So my question is, should I also wait for breakfast after my exercise?
Or am I getting the wrong picture?
Thanks!
Jolien

Hi Jolien, In my opinion whether you eat before exercise or not is a personal choice...
I personally like to run first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
It feels 'cleaner' and I am lighter and more vigorous.
There have also been studies that show post-prandial exercise increases your caloric burn throughout the day.
Some people like to carb up before they work out, have some dates or a datorade for quick acting glucose that will go right to your bloodstream and power you up!
The choice is yours, really.
The most important thing is to keep exercising!
Breakfast gives energy until lunch
Lunch gives energy for last part of the workday
Come home and exercise to deplete the glycogen stores
Eat dinner to replenish glycogen stores
Sleep you go into ketosis with a revved up metabolism that you wouldn't have as much of if you exercised in the morning. More fat is burned.
Exercise before dinner and after lunch if possible.
Any exercise is better than no exercise though. If you can't in the afternoon, then go in the morning.
