This guy has quite a following and I really like his message. Just wondering if the products he endorses are really necessary or more hype? Durianrider, care to jump in? I was on Youtube and I found this video...really inspiring, really great message. No ******** approach.
Check out his before and after pics...crazy:

He might not be 80/10/10 but he has an amazing DVD series on wildcrafting greens and wild foods that I really enjoyed, being a wildcrafting enthusiast. Take the best, leave the rest.
Another guy who reminds me of Markus and vice versa is Brother Echo, I think they would get on fantastically :)
I really like Markus :)
This vid is my favourite atm just because it's simple:
I also just bought his book hehe, I'm intending to buy more health books soon too ^_^
Oh he *is* over the top... I'm a bit wary of the Hollywood persona, but he *is* a professional film maker, so I guess he enjoys going about it in that way... ;-) That's fine by me, I don't have a problem with that. It's also true what's being said here, Markus isn't raw, he says he goes out once a month with his friends and has some cooked (vegan) foods. He says being vegan is more important to him than being 100% raw. Whenever he ate cooked, he cleansed out, I guess that's one way to go about it. It wouldn't be my way, but I can accept that.
Other than that, he eats very little, personally I need more food than he does, but hey if it works for him, he looks amazing. I don't know how fit he is in terms of sports tho. That's also why I came to this forum, to meet people living this lifestyle and having the energy to workout. I need to learn that now, now that I've got my health back... ;-)
Leather and peace do not coincide with one another. To advocate for peace and wear the skin of tortured, enslaved beings in utterly ridiculous.
We may not all be perfect, but supporting commercialized murder is not simply "imperfect", it's downright cruel and wrong.
I love Markus. I have his book Heal Yourself 101 and his dvd set Free Food and Medicine, it's good. It helped me with healing my conditions. Anyone who is suffering from a degenerative disease, I would recommend reading this, but then use their own common sense. I think Markus is integer, he doesn't need to earn money because he's already rich, used to be a Hollywood film maker and he's got the dough. ;-) His stuff is affordable, it's well-thought out and provides a good alternative to healing from medical science. Markus does promote high fruit consumption.
However for my lifestyle, I prefer 811. But, when I was healing my Obesity, Fibromyalgia, Hypothyroidism, Chronic Fatigue and unspecified Hypertension, I turned to Markus. As soon as I started healing, I upped my fruit intake, and lowered fat/protein even more, and today I am fully healthy and healed. His DVD set is awesome, it teaches about which plants are edible and what they look like. He also sells colon-cleansing supplements, but he his message is to go out and forage and educate instead of buying it online.
As said, I choose 811 now, and Markus' message is slightly different, but Markus was a big help, he's also a nice guy, he responded to detail in every question I ever e-mailed him... He also looks awesome, there's no comparison to DW, looking at him, and he's close to 50yrs old.
PS Just for clarity, I never bought a supplement from him, I have his book Heal Yourself 101 and his DVD set Free Food And Medicine. I don't need any supplements, other than B12 ;-)
When I consulted him (he gave me a lot of very useful free info without charging me or telling me to get a paid consult) he never suggested any of his supplements to me, he didn't even tell me to buy his book or DVD, he gave me information that was specific to my conditions and told me how I could heal it. Not once did he say: "Buy this from me, or in general".
That's why I bought his book and DVD.
Oh, way back when, I asked DW first, and he told me to get his raw honey to sweeten my raw choc smoothies and read his books. I responded I am a vegan I don't eat honey, to which no reply came. That's what lead me to Markus, and now I'm here.
811 is more appealing to me than doing enemas... ;-)
