    plenty of durian here now, but price is 150 pesos per kilo now....the season is delayed to april/may....come and eat with us:).

    I will keep this in my mind. I am leaving tropics in March, but would definitely wanna come back. Especially some other country than Thailand. 

    I just want to ask you about safety there. I ve heard that muslim extremist kidnapped some canadian tourists and after not receiving any money they killed them. Is that true, how often do instances like this happen?

      sure, come on by davao sometime.

      harleys favorite fruit is here most of the year, marang!

      i dont feel any issues here..its so safe for me.

      but if you have millions of dollars and own yachts and businessess, then you should not come here.

      those men where kidnapped at their yacht club, lol.

      there are now about 30 fruit loving vegan people living here on samal island, mostly russians.

      it feels safe here...i even can walk around davao city late at night and never had an issue in 8years.
