    I sort of got this deal with my local spar supermarket, where I could buy "bad" fruit for a very discounted price, but it's faded a bit with time. Once got a normal shopping bag full of bananas for like 20kr, so it definately helped alot. Asian shops are always great, but vary in stock. I guess I'll try to renew the deal a bit over christmas...

    I live in Voss by the way, which is close to Bergen .I've been vegan for over a year and I discovered the rawtill4 lifestyle this spring. Would be cool to get like a meet-up sometime to actually see that there are other glucose junkies out here in Norway! :-D

    Im so, so super-happy that im not alone! <3

    I always buy firstprice bananas because of the price (11kr/kg) and Coop also got som bananas on sale some times.

    When it comes to dates i finde the sheepest in shops with immigranted shopkeepers. Next to Rimi in Marken and 'Global Food' nest to the busstation.

    But its not easy beeing a HCRV in norway!

    Hey! I'm from Bergen, Norway too! I've only been vegan for 3 months so I've been wondering where to buy in bulk as well.. Did you have any success finding places that sell boxes or give discounts? Thanks! Btw, so excited to see another Norwegian vegan :)

      I've found that you get good prices for dates in asian grocery shops, other than that, I just look for discounts in advertisements etc.

    Hi,

    I have tried different channels and it is impossible to beat Kiwi or Coop on prices, esp. organic.

    even ordering from wholesale, for an independent shop (understand turkish, or similar) will not match Coop prices.

    Though this morning I had the chance to buy a full box of organic bananas, at about 6kr/kg in a viet shop.

    They get some times fruits that are ripen and are not delivered to conventional shops, because of the ridiculous and shocking rule, that bananas that just start to show signs of maturation are excluded from the shelves...

    So talk to immigrant shopkeepers, they have a very different culture... :-)

    Kiwi refused a discount on a full box and sell now bananas at 24kr/kg!
