Hey guys!
I'm currently studying in Sheffield and although I've been here a couple years, I'm fairly new to this way of eating! I understand why it's not advisable to eat unripe bananas, but i LOVE bananas and find it extremely difficult to find ripe ones around here..I live in Crookes but if anyone knows somewhere slightly further that's fine and if they deliver, even better because I don't have a car!
Also, all you fruitbuds in England, what are your staples?
Thank youuu :D :D

there is a sweet veg/fruit in crookes opposite the sainsbury's and tesco's . sure you've passed it ! :)
I used to study in Sheffield too (Sheffield Uni)! How are you finding the city?
Have you tried going to Castle Market for the fruits? I know that it's based in the city centre, but it might be worth asking the suppliers of they provide delivery services.
There's this one wholesaler (not based in Castle Market) but does wholesale delivery, but I'm not sure if there's a minimum order: http://www.freshvalley.co.uk/index.shtml
I hope that this helps!
Hey guys,
Where are you getting dates from? I live in Sheffield and would really like to stock on some dates :)
Hey you :)
Yep, my family is very supportive, so I'm grateful for that :) What about your parents?
And thank you for the link, 15 pounds is awesome, I ordered it already and I can't wait to go nuts with it yayyyy :D
Heyy Sean :D
You from England originally?
Yeah you're right, sometimes I've got really ripe bananas in the strangest places lol but I don't understand why supermarkets get rid of them, don't people like ripe bananas?! Unripe bananas make my head all fuzzy especially if I drink them up in a smoothie at one go!
I did a dateorade today and I think that'll be my every morning smoothie from now IT WAS AMAZINGGG!
What little machine is this? I'm looking to get a small one for myself too because I am currently using a manual juicer (my housemate was kind enough to give me hers) and it takes forever lol just imagine squeezing 15 oranges manually :3!
I don't like apples either, tooooo dry :@ and the mangoes here are good but I like Indian mangoes the best!
And yep, grapes are cheap and easy to find and lately I've been doing a lot of grapes/figs and dates!
I can't even begin to describe how much I love it, everything about it, the abundance, the sweetness, the freshness, the energy...looooooove it! :D :D
Great idea, I just bought loads of bananas and when the lot starts ripening, I'll stock up on some more! Don't like dates? :)
Hi, my staples are bananas and oranges. I don't even try to buy ripe bananas. I buy them unripe and let them ripen at home, as long I buy them regularly I always have some ripening and some ready to eat.
