  • Such great news Ruby!!! :D

It would be great if you put your story up on the 30BAD testify thread for all to see: http://www.30bananasaday.com/page/testify-1

I just finished watching  Jennelle LeMoine's water fasting videos, she did a 25 day fast with Dr. Doug in Costa Rica and documented every day.  She had endometriosis and no longer has any uterus pain.  At the end of the fast her constant headache was almost gone, I'm not sure how it is now after 3 months.

  • Hey, just an update I no longer have any pain or symptoms. I bike daily and have started running and doing yoga.

  • Just browsing and read through the last few comments...wanted to share this article on the importance of sleep for healing on the 811 lifestyle, (so easy to neglect this one in our society): Health 101 - Article - Sleep - The Great Healer

Also I have heard good things about this fasting center: http://www.naturecurerawfoodhealthretreat.com/

    Victoria refeeds on LFRV.

This fasting center has closed but is sending people to the above: http://www.roylretreat.com/

  • Hello girls,

Im happy I found this group here to talk about this problem. After reading your posts, first and foremost: Even though the symptoms might become better for a while, I do not believe, that 811 can help much with Endometriosis itself!

As you probably know, the causes are not completly known, but what is most probable is that the cause is the menstruation itself, read more here: (http://www.medicinenet.com/endometriosis/page2.htm#what_causes_endo...)

My own experience in short: I started having severe cramps on the first day of my period about 4 years ago (Im 28). I had told a doctor back then about it and she told me it was normal and that you cant do much about it except for good diet and exercice, just as my friends and family always used to tell me... So I tried to accept it as part of being a woman... About 2 years later I went a 100% 811 and in the first months the symptoms got better as well as my PMS. So I started to believe, that, whatever it was, I could heal it with a lfrv diet.

But after about a year of pretty clean 811, the cramps got worse and I started to realize that not everything can be healed with a clean fruitbased diet. I actually took me another year (until now) to realize that I really have to do something about it. I read a lot about Endo and talked to some women about it (all of a sudden everyone around me seems to have it or know someone who has it^^). I will go t an endo specialist as soon as possible and I will let you know about the outcome.

I jus want to stress: Please dont trust only the healing capacities of your body because you are eating 811! Endo can be dangerous and lead to infertility. So dont be as stupid as I am and wait too long until you do something about it!

And a second this I found out: The moon cup (which I started using about 2 years ago) is likely to  increase the risk of endometriosis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuATeOXsjv8

  • Rhiannon,

how long have you been 811?

My first symptoms were a few years ago when I was going into shock from excruciating periods. The doctors couldn't figure it out then and I was put on BC pills. As the next two years went by I started to experience chronic fatigue and migraines. I kept asking doctors who told me to take antidepressants. Luckily, I had enough common sense to refuse those. December 2011 is when the constant pain started. I had an ultra sound, an MRI, exams, and all the tests to rule out STD's, PID, fibroids, and cysts. The only possibility left was endometriosis. I went to a gynecologist who said 'it's pretty much certain that you have it but we need to do surgery to diagnose it. Even if we don't find any implants we'll still diagnose and treat you for endo because it could just be in a place where we couldn't see.' I thought, wait, where is the logic in that?! I was totally confused at the time and made the surgery appointment only to cancel it when I got home.

So 7 months of trying acupuncture, chinese medicine, naturopathy, vitamin supplementation, ayurveda and clearing my bank account and my college fund... I found 80/10/10. It made so much sense!! I felt the difference immediately. My headaches, weakness, fatigue, nausea were gone completely. I took an 8 mile hike I felt so good. (never would of before) Then I started detoxing and it was rough. I had head pressure, my body felt sick and I was always tired. I slept a lot. One night I woke up with an intense buzzy feeling in my arms and legs and felt really nauseas. Detox happens more at night so I believe that's what it was. But it did all go away sometime in the second month. I also had a cooked food relapse first with potatoes, pasta and then a spell with beans and rice. The first two ended with me staying up all night in nauseas agony, beans and rice made me feel exactly how I used to daily- weak, headaches, foggy mind, fatigued. The few days after each I would still feel awful. I recently got over the beans and rice one and now I feel so good I do not want cooked food at all.

A marker for progress it periods. My first period on 811 was only really painful the day before and the first day, better than usual. The second period still painful, not as bad, but no old brown blood! I was really surprised. I'm coming up on my third one and I don't feel any symptoms of it, usually I had a deep aching in my pubic bone area, and I'm not bloated at all!

To conclude, I still have constant aching in my pelvic, though so much more mild, but the difference is night and day. I'm energetic and able to be productive, to enjoy life. It feels so good. I'm going to go on a 7 month backpacking trip in Central America soon! Of course, something that was totally out of the question a few months back.

I wish you luck and hope to hear from you,

    Ruby

  • With yoga and raw food I have cut down SIGNIFICANTLY on my endometriosis. I had several surgeries, took medications for years, and it just made me more sick. I still experience some pain from it, but it is no where near the completely debilitating pain/nausea I had before. Go Raw!! :)
